Looked a tussle to me, after which the Birmingham player did a passable impression of Willem Defoe in Platoon.

Fair enough, but wouldn’t have lead to a goal.
Personally I blame Tim Robinson, although to be fair, for him he was relatively competent yesterday.

Hell of a moment in a hell of a game to make your PL debut. Boy done good in circumstances that dont get more difficult. Looks very light on his feet

Some shaky moments, I'm sure there were lots of nerves. Almost let them in at the end with a bad pass and then missing a header. You can see all the tools are there though.

Outstanding PL debut. Couple of mistakes to learn from, but also some real quality blocks. Could have been a much worse score without him.

Thought that was really impressive. Got to show your brains against Brobbey's brawn, and Schuster definitely produced. Really aggressive both on the floor and in the air.

Not an easy game to step into for a debut and thought he dealt with it all with a lot of maturity.

I thought he did really well and was further impressed by his leadership qualities when he was screaming at a dawdling Sangaré and someone else to get back in front of the back line so they didn’t play someone onside. Also stepped out to nullify danger on more than one occasion.
I think he’s going to start putting real pressure on the current incumbents who I don’t think have been flawless.

You must have been very impressed with the 15 clearances Ajer made against Leeds last week too? Or perhaps because you find any chance to criticise Ajer you have conveniently ignored that in any of your posts

Just looking for a balanced view, however it is difficult to take posts seriously when they are so biased like yours are.

Yes agreed with all of this. I thought he was very impressive and had a maturity to his game. Can see him pushing for a first team place from now on.
