Erm NEW Brentford 🚨 alert 🫣😂😁 about a mile away near the old beefeater pub on A33 is best free bits on the business parks or main road 👍 easy to get away from too 👍

If you want to sit waiting for an hour or so after to get out 😉🫣🫣🫣🤮
I'll be on the train, just leading people towards the useful info. There is a warning about a 45 min waiting, might be less for such a low key game against a little club....Or as said above the fire drill might have started by 9:15

Someone in the other thread said opportunist parking on industrial estates etc. can get you clamped, sounds a bit risky to me but up to the individual. Maybe there is plenty of off street and on street parking. Good luck.

Irrelevant observation. The club car park is £12 a game. If you commit to a whole season (23 games) it's £276 which is £12 x 23 - what a great deal!

Thinking the Club might partially fund coaches .....nice gesture etc

Train direct from Staines. Not sure how long to get to the stadium, but can do a bit of a pub crawl.

Preferred the old Elm Park myself 🤣🤣

Buses from the station are cheap and frequent. No need to spend longer near the ground than you have to

If you have a “London Councils” Freedom pass.
You can travel to Reading on the “Elizabeth line”
for free 👍

Personally, I reckon it'll be much nearer 14,000 on the night.
Okay and i hope so.They just have to make the tickets cheaper than a bag of chips.
14000 for a league game v Luton
2600 for EFL Trophy v Wycombe so far this season.
Its difficult to tell, but if they sell a 3rd of the stadium out then they have done well imo.

Irrelevant
Bus to station £3
Train return to Reading £46
Taxi back from station in Glos home £18

Or

Drive £4 in electric

Haven't even factored in cost of ticket and food/drinks

Unfortunately my circumstances mean I can't throw around £46 for a train ticket to a football match when I can do it for a fraction of the cost by driving

For those traveling by train or Elizabeth line, this is what the internet comes up with, (I can't be held responsible) Google maps from the Station (RG1 1JX) to the stadium (RG2 0EL) gives a walking time of 1hr 1 min and that looks like its along the very busy A33 !!!

Best bet is the F1 shuttle bus from the station to the ground £5.50 return cash or contactless, At the moment the timetable is unavailable until date and time is confirmed.

Or you just change at Reading to Reading Green Park of course....they've built a new station since we were last there.

I think there are several buses on match days , leaving and returning at short intervals ,I doubt there is a time table .
