That's a bit like saying Fatawa (£20m) to Ipswich is a smarter deal than Bouaddi to Citeh (£80m)a lot smarter it seems 1/4 of the price of our potential new one

I think realistically we can go into every game and have some degree of confidence that we can get something if we reach our good level. I couldn't really say that for some away games previously even if we have sprung the odd surprise along the way.Every game, wow we are going to win the league!!!!!![]()
Remind me how much we paid for Vitaly? Does that make us smarter than Brighton?a lot smarter it seems 1/4 of the price of our potential new one
He's cost us about £2,200 per match. Pretty smart!Remind me how much we paid for Vitaly? Does that make us smarter than Brighton?
Vitaly deal has to be one of our best deals ever - I recall Vitaly said he didn’t even negotiate his salary and would have accepted less!Remind me how much we paid for Vitaly? Does that make us smarter than Brighton?
Have you ever seen Brighton’s new left back play? There’s probably a good reason for him being a quarter of the price.a lot smarter it seems 1/4 of the price of our potential new one
Why can’t Leeds make it?I'm going for a 10am tomorrow announcement then. Might even make the bench on Sunday.
You wait until that first run of injuriesProbably the first seasons I've not been worried about playing anyone home or away.

We know that when we sign players, we lay out what we see as their strengths. We also lay out where we believe development is required for them to achieve their potential. Seems like a typical BFC transfer to me.Wouldn't be the first defender to be rated as sh*t by fans, because of the team they're playing in being a basket case, or role they're asked to play, perhaps without sufficient cover.
Our recruitment dept, who aren't exactly too shabby, will have watched him closely and must have determined his defending isn't that bad!
Trent Alexander-Arnold has exceptional delivery but is considered a poor defender #Gary Neville and has had a fantastic career for two world class teams. Not suggesting Diouf is at that level yet, but only 21 years old with plenty of development potential. Yes cost is high but trust that PG feels plenty of upside.I am softening on this one a bit, although i still think the cost is a bit high.
The bloke obviously has some serioualy good physical attributes, if we can get his defending anywhere near decent, he could be a good signing, although i think his future could be further forward.
must be ITK8pm you heard it here first.
What happens at 8pm?8pm you heard it here first.
We don't mention DRC thoughAre we trying to sign players from every African country? This season it’s Mali and (hopefully) Senegal. Last season it was Burkina Faso. Brand awareness throughout the continent as another step forward.

This on-off-on transfer is, to me, a bit concerning. Not the player but the amount of seemingly-specific information that has appeared on X Accounts that appear to be WHU fans giving internal confidential details. IMHO, it's all a bit suspicious and, if it turns out to be mainly correct, makes WHU very dodgy.I wouldn’t get hung up on transfer fees that get reported.
It seems that WHU or the agents were leaking to try and get a bidding war going. We stuck to our guns. This on-off-on transfer is, to me, a bit concerning. Maybe the club see him playing as a wide player with his pace and power and one of the best crossers of the ball.I am softening on this one a bit, although i still think the cost is a bit high.

you must have been away, if it turns out to be mainly correct, makes WHU very dodgy.
I really doubt that; why wouldn't we just go straight for a player who does that in the first place? On the other hand, a full back who can defend well and can overlap and cross accurately is a valuable commodity.Maybe the club see him playing as a wide player with his pace and power and one of the best crossers of the ball.
As they have been trying to sign a winger so maybe they feel this is the right call.
I didn’t!We don't mention DRC though
He played in WC has been part of pre season and appeared in opening match, so a week without a game but still in full training. So I’d expect raring to goWill be interested to know his fitness levels
Part and parcel of dealing with West Ham, unfortunately. Sullivan makes the fat slug look like Ned Flanders! This on-off-on transfer is, to me, a bit concerning. West Ham are very leaky. Nothing to worry about for us though, as long as we get a good deal? This on-off-on transfer is, to me, a bit concerning. Are you sure that isn't a quote you've copied and pasted from an overseas Hammer on social media??A great friend of mine is a lifelong West Ham fan and season ticket holder. He follows the Bees closely and is a regular at the GTech. I asked his view…
“He’s brilliant! Very very sad to lose him. Very!!” And then doubled down, “He is brilliant at crossing and will make many assists.”
And my mate really isn’t given to hyperbole![]()
Milambo would possibly like a word with you!We don't mention DRC though
I'm in the same boat as you.I am softening on this one a bit, although i still think the cost is a bit high.

I just find it so unprofessional but it does highlight how discrete BFC is and that contrast can't go unnoticed.West Ham are very leaky. Nothing to worry about for us though, as long as we get a good deal?
Indeed, and I get the impression that we’re very relaxed about the whole situation and not at all desperate for it to be done.I just find it so unprofessional but it does highlight how discrete BFC is and that contrast can't go unnoticed.
Assuming it goes ahead, no doubt it will be an undisclosed fee, so 'ammers fans will believe they've had us over with whatever numbers they leak out while Phil will probably have the slightest of smiles knowing we've got one of Lee's agreed targets... and some of our fans will be moaning that we've paid too much – but it was ever thus.
Yes, Phil's poker face will win through eventually.Indeed, and I get the impression that we’re very relaxed about the whole situation and not at all desperate for it to be done.
The numbers leaked are entirely accurate AFAIK.I just find it so unprofessional but it does highlight how discrete BFC is and that contrast can't go unnoticed.

Yet not one of them would be able to quantify this in any way other than what it says on Transfermarkt.and some of our fans will be moaning that we've paid too much
Was that £35m plus add-ons that take it to £40m potential total? The numbers leaked are entirely accurate AFAIK.
Would be happy to see him on the bench but not straight in as a starter?Hopefully we can get done so he would be available for the weekend.
No rush.Hopefully we can get done so he would be available for the weekend.
Don’t know but even if he was registered on time there’s no chance he’d be in the squad for Sunday. Is it register by Noon to be available for Weeds?
We did OK on Tuesday...........No rush.
Never change a winning team.
Why would we want a player who will have barely met his new teammates let alone trained with them going straight into a matchday squad? No chance.Hopefully we can get done so he would be available for the weekend.
Didn't people say the same thing about Sangare? They're still removing egg from their boats.Would be happy to see him on the bench but not straight in as a starter?
Not entirely sure he was signed on a friday then starting on the sunday in the league...Didn't people say the same thing about Sangare? They're still removing egg from their boats.
