Saturdays at a test match used to be the highlights of test series, now you barely get any play on them and it looks like this one's going the way of the last . Must be a worry for the ECB with lost revenue although I'm not sure, maybe start tests on Friday instead at least there's a chance you'll get a full weekend's play.

They lost pretty much all day yesterday, why can't they be playing now in these perfect conditions? No good adding time on at the end of the day, umpires more likely to take them off for bad light

If advertised as 11am start it should be that timee given trains, parking etc as well as staff being hired from agencies for (say) 9am arrival.

If it was a big name rock gig they rarely start on time!!! At least first ball bang on 11am.

Lots of complaints that they could have played for about another 45 mins yesterday evening until 7:30, as the weather was fine.
If that had happened, they'd have got the minimum number of overs in required for no refund. With 90% of the crowd having already gone home.
As it was, there will be a 50% refund.

If I'd had a ticket for yesterday, I'd have been well pissed off if they came on late in the day and bowled a few overs that meant no refund. Particularly as I would have been in the pub by then!!!
