No, I was in the West. And such was the noise around me, that it wasn't really possible to hear what was going on elsewhere yesterday. But you can tell when an area is animated when they rise to their feet and wave their arms etc. And while I saw this a few times from the South Stand (western end), and precisely once, briefly, from the (otherwise pathetic) Spurs support, I saw none of this from the North. Though you could see applause from there immediately after each goal for a few seconds, so I don't think my observations are misplaced. (Am perfectly happy to be corrected btw)
Anyhow, I feel that those who pooh-poohed Saturday's activities in the West Stand in the run-up to the game were proven wrong, so I wonder could we do something for the rest of the ground? For with yesterday's measures offering hope, let's capitalise on it!
