Exactly. We’ve been building for a real push for Europe this season. Losing a key player this close to the end of the window would be counterproductive to the plan.

I did not say I wanted it, my reference is a forced purchase by Liverpool. If they come in Kevin will go, you know why. At this stage we get the best money we can.

I’m totally with you on this for what it’s worth to me he does what Dango doesn’t but still gets hammered. His consistency hasn’t been great but it took Bryan time to get that I think expectations were raised from Kevin’s early games. Hopefully with D Duffs coaching and a smile on his face we get the full package this season

I'm fairly sure the club has already thought of a contingency plan shoukd he leave. Maybe recent purchases (Diouf with KLP moving forward or Jason Anthony?) could be the cover options.

I think every prospective transfer at this level is very unlikely to begin with. These are complex deals. And then situations change very quickly.

Clubs panic at the end of the window and offer silly money. Other clubs need money and return with more sensible valuations to interested clubs.

Any player in our squad could still be sold whilst the window is open, Schade and Jensen most at risk given contract situations.
