Yoane Wissa (Newcastle United)

There's some weird stuff going on over on the Brentford Sub Reddit. Its always been US centric but it's become really snarky recently about home based Brentford supporters which seems to be blowing up into a British Bees v American Bees set to. The attitude seems to be 'I'm as big a Brentford fan as local match going long term die hards cos I've been watching them on TV for at least two years'. Its great that we've got American supporters now but some of the users on that forum have real chips on their shoulders.

Time for me to get out of there.
Never used Reddit, but most of what I hear about it is negative. Surely they are WUMs?

With proper use by Howe (or his replacement), the 🐍 will score well next season.
I think he'll have good stats in a relegation team. Next season's Jaidon Anthony. Should we re-sign him in 2028?

Scored twice in a friendly v Valencia today. Doubt he's going to be as bad as last season.

Yep!!
Got his just desserts for downing tools and missing pre-season in as much as how crap he was, and the vitriol he got from the famous Toon Army.
But still maintain he's the best Bees "finisher" I've seen in my 50 years.
And will score plenty this season if used properly.

But he's still got a proper G-Tech "welcome" to look forward to this season, having jibbed out last time.
Which I'll enjoy giving him.

Only scores when it doesn't matter. And he'll be playing (maybe) in an even crappier Newcastle side. We shall see. Hopefully he f***s up again.

Pathetic dive. I thought refs were stamping down on this.

He does look back to his best again, at least today.

Newcastle fans are impacting Isak's game by letting him know how much he let them down, we need to do the same when Wissa visits.

Missed one on one 😂

Agree why is there an active thread on him
There's one for all our former players.

And it means we can continue to give him abuse.

Just missed another good chance...🤣🤣🤣

Hilarious how fickle fans can be.He got dogs abuse all last season,1 good game gets a standing ovation.

Can't wait till he comes back,he'll get a different kind of standing ovation.

No flags required for that game

Would the club get in trouble if a couple of thousand plastic snakes were lobbed onto the pitch from the stands when he returns to the Gtech? I think that'd be a great spectacle if not.

Decent goal by the slippery striker against Spurs !
Acrobatic finish.
