The Cypriot First Division has it's first casualty of the season. The season starts next week.
Last season had 27 managerial changes, so we're off to a strong start.

Palace have been slow starters for a few years now, but this year, I'm not sure they've got the players or manager to haul themselves out of trouble.

IMHO Sage haven't had a real chance to not get failed, and given that the transfer window closes so soon, I don't think he'll get a realistic chance of not being failed by the club absolutely ripping the chair out from underneath him, by selling all the players

I would say David Moyes is not long in his job. The owners have dubbed ladt season a ‘failure’ and now he is openly criticising the DOF.
Whether he is right or wrong it only ends one way. They want one of those young vibrant Spanish/French/German coaches not some old gnarled dour Scot.

Moyes is starting to be a character with a definite shelf-life because of his style of play, while reasonably effective at being getting out of danger of getting relegated, is utterly bland and uninspiring for both fans and board.
Immediately stabilising if entering in club that are circling the drain and can keep them floating, But the backroom above him would need to use the time bought to rebuild organisationally as to be able to carry the additional load returning when he'll have worn out his welcome.

You're probably right - certainly some disharmony there.
They should just be careful what they wish for. Moyes has seen it all before at West Ham - shiny new stadium, money to spend, demand for Euro football and 'total' football.
Owners are stupid dubbing last season a failure, imo. Like us, they just missed European football. They were bottom 6 material before Moyes arrived, and massively improved last year. If they back him in the transfer market and give him 2 years, who knows?
Sadly, like 95% of owners, they want instant success. As Spurs are showing, just chucking money at things and changing managers guarantees nothing.
