VAR decisions

Is there anything that can be done?

Last season was characterised by us being on the wrong end out countless VAR decisions. And then today.

I totally understand the ref not giving it. On first viewing, it could be seen as making the most out of minimal contact. But on replay it is absolutely 100% a penalty. I can't see how the decision is come to. It makes absolutely zero sense.

IF there was no VAR, you can take that decision as just one of those things, but VAR is there to stop decisions like that from happening. Decisions where the ref makes the wrong call, for whatever reason.

And that it hurts us yet again...

Is there anything that can be done? Should Keith come out and talk about it?

Yeah, don't worry. They'll come out again in two months and say it should have been a penalty. So that'll be nice.

Maybe they've discontinued VAR without telling anyone? Kind of what it feels like - last season every decision was micro-managed, this season we're not seeing any offsides on the screen and they're seemingly not getting involved in any decisions. Mysterious.

I’m fairly sure we enjoy a reasonable relationship with ProRef and someone will be on the phone to Howard asking for an explanation.

Let’s see what Ref Watch, Dale Johnson and the KMI Panel say.

If standing on a player's foot is a foul, then there's no excuse for not overturning that decision. In a game of football feet are quite important so I would assume it is a foul but I just don't know anymore.

Perhaps Bees United should go all Marinakis?
