I think they have underestimated demand. Saturday at 15:00 after a three week break. These will go quickly .
I don't think there is an option for us to take more.

TAPs mean nothing here.
ST means nothing too.

I smell another Southampton fiasco :fishing:... I think that's the line in every ticket thread at the moment.

I hope we can sell these out and I'm a bit surprised there's no 24 hour priority for STHs. But, last season this was on sale for WEEKS and they barely needed to open the upper tier. It'll be fine.

Thread title confused me for a while!!
Doesnt it usually quote the Matchday date and time, rather than the start of the first ticket window??

Not true , they don't do this that often .
We need to start selling these games out before we become a laughing stock

Aston Villa (A) (All +4 Tues 2pm)

Who can blame after Leeds sales .
Bet we still struggle to sell out
All the games are the same to you Nick, if we were in Inverness on Sunday @ 22:00 you would be there. But there is a big difference between Leeds on a Sunday with travel issues and Villa on Saturday @ 15:00 for others, especially when there has been no football for three weeks. Don't have a problem with the club doing this, but they could have had Tuesday for ST holders and said that from Wednesday it is open to all ST /Members and +3.

Sorry Nick I could not care about other fans , what matters to me is what happens on the pitch. Are we going to become like the over privileged clubs supporters ? Sensitive to every meaningless slur? I know Arsenal fans apoplectic at ‘Champions of Europe you’ll never sing that’ or City fans and chants about the 112 charges and cheating.
We are who we are, small and perfectly formed shaped by guys like you who know Scunthorpe away on a Tuesday night.
By the way se you at Leeds, Villa etc

If it's a "F&F fixture", then it's very likely that STH's will want to add their F&F, so it's a bit pointless to prioritise STH's with no friends or family!

Which is exactly what I’ll be doing with 2 members and a +1

Aston Villa (A) (All +4 Tues 2pm)

Silly question but I assume people need to be in your F&F list to get the extra tickets?

I'm sure no one actually cares what oppo fans on X have to say, but the players greatly appreciate the support and it definitely does make a difference having a noisy sold out backing.

The most we have ever taken to Villa Park is 1,600. There is maybe a tiny chance of the club selling 3,000 IMHO, but only if we win the next 4 games.

The club have taken a financial risk by taking the 3,000 allocation, the least we can do is to get up there and give the team our support.

First season second gameweek, thought we took 3k?

There is absolutely no chance of 3,000 tickets going on Tuesday :ROFLMAO:

Not disputing that or the importance of support Nicks point was that we would be mocked for being small my point is I could not give a damn.

Ah maybe, but that was first-season, never to be repeated, ultra enthusiasm.
I swapped an upper tier ticket for a lower the 2nd season which suggests a bigger following that year. The game that was done by half time

Didnt we take loads in the Championship? Seem to remember a midweek where upper and lower were very busy.

Appreciate you may actually be only talking about Prem.

20p off for OAPs and young people 😂

Better off buying full adult and retaining flexibility
Ridiculous isn’t it, but it’s actually a 50p saving for oldies and youngies

Every season with this scummy lot - that’s why I enjoy their financial fumbling with PSR / financial fair play so enjoyable.

Yes the have to sell those ticket at a lower price. I thought clubs that were selling at £29 were taking the piss but £29.80 is a new level of w***erness.
Isn't it £29.50 plus the 30p admin fee from BFC?

Aston Villa (A) (All +4 Tues 2pm)

Can one of the wiser, calmer posters on here convince me there is no chance of a futile scramble for tickets?

I checked. It was the 1-1 in 2016 i was thinking about, we sold out the upper tier, but the lower was maybe just under half full.

A strange one that we have never taken huge numbers?

I’m fairly sure even the 2021 game wasn’t completely sold out. Think it was 2,600-odd.
