We often get asked who we are and what we do so here is a brief summary.

You can find out a lot more on our website - BIAS – The Brentford Independent Association of Supporters.

Established in 1997, BIAS represents the views of our members and by extension all supporters of Brentford FC. We are formed under Football Supporters Association (FSA) guidelines and are recognised by the Club as an official Brentford fan group.

People sometimes ask what is the difference between BIAS and Bees United (another Brentford fan group)? BIAS actually came up with the idea to create a supporters trust which eventually became Bees United in 2001. You can read about the history on our website here. Bees United remains a supporters trust with a place on the Brentford FC board. As such it has additional responsibilities to protect the heritage of Brentford FC. BIAS would recommend all fans are members of both groups.

We decided to retain BIAS as a separate supporters’ group in order to ensure that BIAS could always be completely independent of the club and act solely in the interests of fans. BIAS’s sole commitment is to work with the club to get the best possible experience for fans.

BIAS and Bees United jointly chair the Fan Advisory Board. Fan Advisory Board | Brentford FC

If you are interested in joining our committee and would like to know more please contact us here [email protected]someone will be happy to talk to you about what it involves.

We will be electing new committee members at our next AGM in November.

The current members of the BIAS executive committee are:

David Minckley – Vice Chair and Finance Officer – Season Ticket Holder (West)

Sarah Todd – Secretary – Season Ticket Holder (West)

Panit Torkildsen – Season Ticket Holder (West)

Matthew White – Season Ticket Holder (Family stand)

Ally Woyak – Member (ST holder in West from 25/26)

The committee members divide themselves between various working groups which we regularly attend with the club and outside groups and agencies. Amongst these groups are the following:

We informed the club that the ability to reach the ticketing booking site through the App had disappeared. This has now been rectified.

Great to see BIAS out recruiting again.

It's easy to look from the outside. Think, I could have done better than that. That's wrong, I don't agree with that, I would have done it different.

But your not there representing us, giving your time. ITS NOT EASY.

They do a lot of good, we all benefit. If your not a member, join, give them the strongest voice possible to represent you.

If you have an issue with the club how about raising it with them and see how they can help you.

Just completed the survey and feel like one of the options for not attending away games should have been the constant short notice moving of games for TV. Especially when it moves them to a later kickoff on a Sunday or Monday. Maybe that option is there and I missed it...

Thanks - It doesn't mention it specifically, but kick-off times, cost of travel, arrive home too late are. You can also specify other and provide details.
