Mikkel Damsgaard
They said similar things about Crouchy…..Despite his ability he's always looked more like a twiglet than a footballer.

:-(Just image he not even first choice at the minute![]()
Which is one of the reasons we got him I guess. Excellent player. Fingers crossed he stays fit. The fact that we don't need to overplay him will be of benefit to him and to us.Despite his ability he's always looked more like a twiglet than a footballer.
Not fussed what he looks like as long as he performs well for the Bees.Could do without the hobo beard though. Someone needs to have a word and tell him it makes him look one scruffy dog away from being refused entry to shops and restaurants.
No really? I thought he should be dropped because of a questionable beardNot fussed what he looks like as long as he performs well for the Bees.
More pertinently, so did Keith! The beard is only brought forth in the second half…No really? I thought he should be dropped because of a questionable beard![]()
Agreed!! Some lovely touches to get us out of tight spaces!!! Backheel at the end of the first half was sublime!!!Brilliant today!! He is such a player and works so hard.
Some lovely touches and passing was on point.. very, very weak on the challenge.
I'm going to bore you further. The comments about him being outmuscles are boring. Sorry.
His use of the ball and how he links the play is a joy to watch. He hasn't gone backwards and is finding his way into this new squad.
Not all players need to be bruising bullies. Sometimes you have to accept that some players are slight of body, but have a skill set the far outweighs that negative. Dams is one of these.
Funny how we lost control of the ball once he went off.
theyre losing a winger and want Dams as a replacement ??Tiny rumour regarding Lazio. Can't see them stumping up the required cash or us wanting to sell this late in the window.

Lazio Add Brentford Midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard to Their Shortlist
Lazio are reportedly interested in bringing Brentford attacking midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard back to the Italian peninsula.thelaziali.com
I don't think its an issue.I'm going to bore you further.
Not only was he outmuscled on the ball 3 times yesterday but he's clearly lost weight from last season too. It's as obvious to anyone that extra time in the gym would help his game, but i'm guessing this is something to do with his condition rather than a choice, surely?
FWIW I thought he was excellent yesterday, but yes his lack of physicality is an issue and a fair one to point out.
He has been with us for 4 years and barely changed. You don't think our team have considered this?I'm going to bore you further.

I'll tell Phil we aren't responding to any offers, don't worryTiny rumour regarding Lazio. Can't see them stumping up the required cash or us wanting to sell this late in the window.

Disagree, I think he has lost weight. But yes i'm sure our team has considered everything. He has been with us for 4 years and barely changed. You don't think our team have considered this?
He doesn't need to look like Adama Traore, because he has a totally different skillset. See also Cole Palmer.
As you said, he was excellent against Leeds. The rest is irrelevant. It's not a bodybuilding contest.I'm going to bore you further.

It literally doesn't have to be, it's almost as if it has to be one extreme or another on here.As you said, he was excellent against Leeds. The rest is irrelevant. It's not a bodybuilding contest.
Yes it seems people forget a guy called ModricThe comments about him being outmuscles are boring. Sorry.

It all seems a bit Division 4 to me (remember Ian Evatt?); he's not that tall (1m80 I think), and adding too much weight to his frame would slow him down! There's always going to be Premier League defenders who will barge him over, just as they'd barge over any other player... thinking of Arsenal here.As you said, he was excellent against Leeds. The rest is irrelevant. It's not a bodybuilding contest.
Problem is bulking up may be to the detriment of other aspects. I would imagine our medical/coaching team are fully aware of his conditioning and muscle denseness and, with no disrespect to your opinion, would go with their opinionIt literally doesn't have to be, it's almost as if it has to be one extreme or another on here.
One more time as you missed it, he doesn't need to be Adama Traore, but I believe he'd be a better player with more muscle, so he's harder to shrug off the ball. Anyway, now its boring as i've said the same thing 4 times. Cheers Cliff.
Mate with respect, Messi's an absolute tank. Has a hell of a lot of muscle mass and therefore is almost impossible to shrug off that ball, all that with a low centre of gravity.I don't think it's strength, though. Messi had no issue...
It's more that his little flicks and dinks aren't quite coming off right now. He seems a little rushed on the ball, I feel. Part of that is that defenders are crowding him out because of how dangerous he can be. But part of that is him just not being able to find that space well enough. He needs to improve that. He needs to find a way to get more time on the ball.
Yeah, you're right. I didn't qualify myself well enoughMate with respect, Messi's an absolute tank. Has a hell of a lot of muscle mass and therefore is almost impossible to shrug off that ball, all that with a low centre of gravity.
I think you're definitely right tho, teams have sussed he's an attacking threat of ours and probably do crowd him now![]()
MD has been below par for a whilePoor when he came on. His form this season is a mild concern.
