Aston Villa (A) Sat 10th October (All +4 Tues 2pm)

Worth remembering that Villa Park is having construction work done this season, which means they’re down an entire stand and will obviously be a lot quieter than usual.

Don’t give them any extra tickets to sell, let’s fill out our allocation and make sure we give our team the away support they deserve! No excuse not to for a Saturday 3PM after a 3 week international break.

Thanks. Hadn’t seen coverage of that before. Total capacity down from 42k to 37k this season, but away fans still get their 3,000. COYB 🐝

Just checking, are we an hour out on the header ?

Aston Villa (A) Sat 10th October (All +4 Tues 2pm)

Trying to get 4 tickets but it won't let me add a junior ticket under my name and my nephew only has a ticketing account and not a membership. Should I be able to add a junior as one of the 4 tickets but still assign it under my name?

Yes, I believe so, but he won’t get the TAPs.

Four purchased, lower singing.

Annoyingly when I select him it says he "doesn't have the correct attributes to purchase seats on this event".

I'll have to calm the ticket office and wait to speak to someone.

Thanks for the response though

Needs to be a member/sth to have the ticket assigned to them. Otherwise it needs to be an additional under your name, but the TAPs will go into a black hole.

Aston Villa (A) Sat 10th October (All +4 Tues 2pm)

There is absolutely no chance of 3,000 tickets going on Tuesday :ROFLMAO:
It took me 11 minutes to buy 3.
Every time i clicked on a seat it could not reserve that seat because someone else was buying.
I got there in thecend and will be upstairs for a change.
We may well sell them all.

Always a mad rush when sales open, so difficult to tell.

Decent pace of sales and the website seems to have held up despite the free-for-all
As a certain poster would say: "Big club again!"

I don't think he cares about TAPs too much. The flaw in the system is I can't allocate a junior under 14 ticket to my name as I have an adult ST.

It either says it's age restricted and select a new category. Or assign to someone else but I can't do that as they aren't members or STH's.

A little silly if you ask me. Hopefully the ticket office can sort it if I can get past the queue

Should I just purchase 4 adults and then ask for the refund in price?

This is expected, this window is for members and season ticket holders, if they aren't either you can't associate to them.

That's why they allow you to buy four under your name.

Otherwise anyone off the street could create a fan account and buy four tickets.

Aston Villa (A) Sat 10th October (All +4 Tues 2pm)

3x tickets bought, but for some reason it won't let me assign an adult coach ticket to any other adult members. Works fine for junior, but won't let me assign to my wife, who is a member. Maybe they're trying to tell me something 😉

In the year of our Lord 2026, the ticketing site wasn't able to sell me a match ticket and a seat on the coach in the same transaction because they have 'different delivery methods' so I had to come out and go back in to select the coach travel, reconfirm payment method, T&Cs etc. Silly!

Mate has sorted me for this.

Was at Leeds, going Saturday and now this, a 66% increase on last seasons attendance already 😂

Yes, it's a feature apparently.

Got mine. Easy process. 😁
Agreed, very easy for normal folk but I had to get 4 including a junior and senior in the F&F section.

Managed to do it at about 2 mins in but then the confirmation page confused me saying it was the "singing section" and no mention of the family section. Then I obviously clicked the phone too much coz the b@st@rd thing blocked my access for suspicious activity.

Shouted at the phone, threw it across the room, punched the wall, screamed in agony unloading all sorts of profanity... recovered... Took a few breaths. Then managed to get back on at get dad and the nephew into F&F and the other two in the singing section. Probably best that the little one isn't around his unhinged uncle.

Hopefully Reading away is a little easier for me.

3 tickets bought, one adult, one senior (me) and one child, had no idea whether “singing” meant sitting or standing so chose the seats.

Just seems naff that a ticketing system can't cope with two different transactions, especially now there's no physical ticket to put into an envelope!

2,040 tickets sold. Excellent work chaps and chapesses.

Excluding P11, which is held back rather than sold: 2,794 total, 971 available, 1,823 taken, 34.8% available.
Can't get the connection in your post between 2,040 tickets sold and 1,823 taken but concur with the sentiment.
With other approaches tried to date, might inform the Club regarding their Away ticket sales processes. TAPs should determine access priority but the individual windows could be compressed to create the sales momentum we've seen today [Posted as a likely loser in such a scenario].

I thought the table was pretty clear. Section P11 (216 tickets) is held back but in the table it shows as 0 available and all taken... and that number is the difference between 2,039 (not 2,040) tickets sold and 1,823 - the actual figure taken at the time of writing

Yes I agree with compressed sales windows.

I also agree the numbers above were a bit mangled. so I have removed them. I hope the below is clearer

P11 is not currently on sale.

Anyone managed to get hold of the ticket office today? It seems they are just letting calls get to a point where they hang up and say we will call you back. Unfortunately the callback option and my line of work don't marry together

I have an answer for your issue - they left a setting turned on that prevents Adults buying Child Tickets, they should've turned it off for this fixture and have now.

So if you have purchased with the Adult price then you can call back when they are less busy.
