.... it's slightly amusing....the very reason VAR was introduced... apparently...was to improve officiating...and yet here we are still talking about the standard of refereeing.... personally I'd rather the match officials had the odd bad game over VAR anyday.... back in the day in Glasgow we had a song at Ibrox when the ref was having a shocker.... this is the how it went....'how's yer father... how's yer father.... how's yer father referee...ye huvnae goat wan ye huvnae goat wan....yer a bastard referee'...sang to the tune of darling Clementine....life was so much simpler then.
