Watching the match is like a COVID time match.you can hear the shouts from the bench!

He is not a tin of baked beans.

Have a little respect.
Don't think I will, I seem to remember he was outed liking a post that didn't show the club any respect?

Translated from German
Signing of the Incel! The 22-year-old 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗘𝗟 𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗚𝗕𝗘 is switching on loan from Brentford FC to our WSG. For the "Bees," he made eight brief appearances in the Premier League … (1/2)

Not so sure he will thank them for calling him that. But a good move for him, away from distractions etc - can get his head down and develop...

Another of those young players who seems to have found the transition to adult football quite difficult. Wish him well,

A good move to a nation's top flight, but you get to the point of wondering if it'll ever click with him, anywhere.

For some reason they're always really slow at posting official highlights in Austria - here's an unofficial one, it'll probably be gone by the end of the day though :(
Anyway, nice goal. And this against the team that knocked out Hearts in the week.

Makes you wonder if there'll be a marked improvement from MO from here on in, with the realisation that his contract is up at the end of next season. No longer will be it be up in 2/3/4 years etc. He's not making it at Bees, but there's a professional career for him, if he wants it badly enough, and is willing to ply his trade overseas and take on all that entails.

Has anyone got any idea how much a player like this costs or earns Brentford? Do loan fees cover much of the transfer fees? How much of the wages are likely to be covered?

Much depends on who they go to on loan

In short I do not know. That said, knowing how the club operates I doubt that we lose money on a loan such as this (MO). There is likely to be a loan fee, plus wages covered at least. Loans abroad are considered Temporary Transfers, and indeed the player is free to negotiate a salary as indeed they are here. I would not imagine that MO receives massive wages from us so no reason to expect we would subsidise him. Chelsea are known to profit from their loans so there is no reason to think we would not.

Yea, what is the quality there?

LASK just demolished Celtic to qualify for the Champions League. We paid good money for Schuster from Salzburg.

My estimation would be that Austrian top-flight football is not far off SPL.

Opta has it say on that: :)

He is in the 23rd strongest league….

I am surprised the Dutch iare behind the Polish, Danish and Norwegian leagues.
In a grouping with Czech and Swiss leagues, which looks geographical!
What does look odd is Sweden being so far behind Denmark and Norway…

That list came up here a few weeks ago, i gave my feedback then - i think it's nonsense :)

Looks like it might be "best attendances", not actual top 100

It's a half-decent league, probably similar to Scotland. Mads Bidstrup, for one, did alright there.

Stronger than League 1 which is his previous highest level.

Yeah. No way is the Hungarian league better than the Scottish league, that division is awful quality.
