You are missing something , it’s £ 19.55 return with a network card Padd-Reading return or 24 for the one that takes 28 minsAm I missing something or is it really £53 return for the fast train from Paddington?
Feck that…
Surely a little bit sketchy on the way home. I recall some loon wanted to cycle to the Grimsby game from a hotel on the outskirts… would have meant riding on duel carriage ways. Thankfully commmon sense prevailed and a taxi was taken. This game is defo one we can cycle too and from. Kennet and Avon canal links to the Thames path.
Not with a Freedom CardOr slow line from Waterloo is much cheaper too
I'll be on the train, just leading people towards the useful info. There is a warning about a 45 min waiting, might be less for such a low key game against a little club....Or as said above the fire drill might have started by 9:15
Someone in the other thread said opportunist parking on industrial estates etc. can get you clamped, sounds a bit risky to me but up to the individual. Maybe there is plenty of off street and on street parking. Good luck.
Irrelevant observation. The club car park is £12 a game. If you commit to a whole season (23 games) it's £276 which is £12 x 23 - what a great deal!![]()
gives a walking time of 1hr 1 min and that looks like its along the very busy A33 !!!
No. It will appear here when the time comesDo we have a date on tickets on sale for this?
You mean all those small car parks attached to industrial units? You just turn up, choose one and pay on the day? There are loads of places to park on the A33, most of the buildings will charge you a fee, but there are always loads
Emery is indeed a good eraser, although, personally, prefer wire wool. That bloody roundabout by the Maccies that ha speed bumps on it, I'd erased that from emery until we met late Sunday evening
Less than 2 weeks to go so would be nice if both clubs could agree on some tickets details ?![]()

Parking anywhere that leaves you with an exit route on the 'new' A33 is madness – you need to find parking that allows an exit onto the 'old' A33, Basingstoke Road, that takes you directly to the M4 mess-about, even that's busy.Last time I pre booked one in just park, it was about a 20 min walk, but you don’t want to be parked any nearer than that. And to be fair, it’s only 2 junctions for me so 10-15 on the motorway

Ah commit fraud. Why some people just don't pay their train fare I have no idea.Isn’t that the normal price ?
I’ve had confirmation from my friend at swr that the ticket machines are not that sosphisticated so you can use tickets out of sequence and benefit from the cheaper prices ex reading

isn’t it fairly similar to buying a return but not using the second leg as a return is cheaperAh commit fraud. Why some people just don't pay their train fare I have no idea.
