Since he'd been at Watford for 10 years (i.e. since 7 y.o.), do you know what he was born in ROI, or whether the connection is ancestral? If the latter, he'd also be England-eligible.

While the club write-up also notes:
"The left-footed midfielder has also received recognition from Sweden’s youth set-up." (U-17's apparently)

I do not understand your point? He is also qualified to play for England, South Africa, and is currently playing for the ROI under 18 team. He qualifies for ROI through an Irish Grand Mother. All this information is on the original post!
I guess that he is known to our Deputy Head Coach.
Yes, he was signed from Watford who we no doubt as a category 1 Accademy paid compensation.

I wasn't making a point. Rather, having missed/misread the opening post, I was asking a question, the answer to which I've now received.
