What is the significance of these weird prices?

Great allocation. Reading fans must have been seriously unimpressed when they heard what our allocation was.
Yes their noisy supporters were not impressed with a figure of 4,000 never mind 5,000. They've also been kicked out of their usual seats.

Their other replies indicate we'll get some of the West Stand Upper section as well as the South. It might just be the SW corner but if they're not having any home fans up there maybe it could be.

Believe we have the entire South Stand?

Yes. My wording could have been clearer, but Club 1871 group say we also have West Upper if we need it as well as the whole of the South.

Only West (Lower), North and East are being sold to home fans, not West Upper.

"The South Stand has a capacity of 4,350" (wiki), so looks like we already have the West Upper too.

This has a ring of Orient about it. The day we celebrated like we'd won the cup!

Sorry for the stupid question.

As a season ticket holder, if I buy my ticket +1 does the +1 have to be a bees member?

And will the tickets be tied to membership cards or just forwarded over email / sent out?

predicate calculas to this question ends up likely to be FALSE

That "And" is doing a lot of heavy lifting TBH

Largest away following since Arsenal in League Cup??

Suspect there will be more on their feet than just in this area but to help avoid some of the standing / sitting debates. The usual Reading safe standing area in "Club 1871" that we are allocated for the game is
  • South Stand Gate 9
  • Blocks R27–R29 [27 corner - 29 behind the goal]
  • Row Q upwards
In the conventional Away Section, Blocks R30 [centre] - R32 [corner] the "top rows of the away area" are safe standing, with capacity of 332.

Have had a look at the swr website and in their sale it costs £11.50 return staines to reading (no sale) but if you buy the ticket reading to staines return it's £6 and use the ticket out of sequence ( if that's even possible 🤷) ie use staines to reading first and the first leg second then it's £6🤷😀 adult fare

Is that an Advanced price though, which would be specified train only?

My thinking exactly ! Can only go by train and last one back to Twickenham leaves at 11.00 !! Cutting it fine with an 8 00 ko and possible pens.
You'll have plenty of time if you get the train from Reading Green Park surely even in the hopefully unlikely event of penalties.

5k Bees with a high % travelling back via that route though. It may not be simple getting back to Reading Station as you might expect either by bus or train

You can probably walk it back to Reading main station in the hour that the original poster needs.
Trains and buses available too.
Best of luck to all.
