... While I'm pretty sure this ain't quite the right thread, there wasn't any else that really sprung out at me saying that it's a good fit, Mods, feel free to shift it off to where-ever it fits better.

Musiala collasped on the pitch doing a friendly with Bayern, for the second time in a week :eek:



First time the general consensus seem to have been that it was heat exhaustion due to being 35c, and as such seemingly not looked all that much deeper into, but this second time in such a short timespan surely must lead to some real concern if not something more substantial is wrong health-wise...

Could someone please explain what is happening to Sheffield United in the courts.
I've read it a couple of times but it's still not clear to me.

The new owner have failed to uphold the payment scheme for the agreed-upon price for the club, and presumedly after multiple failed attempts at getting them to do so, the former owner have approached the courts for a foreclosure of them (very explicitly the owner shell company, not the club)

F/T 0-11. Obviously played their first XI to start with, until Gotze scored, and then declared. There can’t be many occasions when a professional team has had an 18 (eighteen) goal swing in 2 games! (-7, +11).

As of whether they're considered 'professional' is an open question, but I'm relatively confident that you could find some OFC games where Australia or New Zealand absolutely smashed an atoll nation, followed by them playing evenly with another atoll nation

Sutton’s Enterprise National League match away at Boreham Wood has been brought forward 24 hours, and will now take place on Tuesday, 8th December (7pm KO).

The fixture was due to take place on the Wednesday, but has been moved due to Arsenal’s involvement in the UEFA Champions League. :confused::confused::confused:

Kick-off will remain at 7pm in Hertfordshire.

Ticket details will be confirmed in due course.

Having watched it again this afternoon...I can honestly say that the Real Betis media team has way too much free time and not enough healthy activities.

I don't know if anyone has seen it, but Forest had a goal disallowed for Williams handling it in, with Tonali defending on the line. Williams goes to head it, has his hand up as Tonali's boot goes up to clear it.

My hatred for Forest makes any objective view impossible, but alot o people have said this was controversial, with alot of people online saying if it ain't a goal, perhaps a penalty to Forest for the boot.

For me, it's not a high boot and is a hand ball. but just interested what others thought. Would you be aggrieved if we were given handball for that?

Boot aren't high enough (still below waist) to innately be a problem, this is one where head is too low

As for a question of hands, while it probably is more there to protect head from diving low after it, from what i can see of the picture (which might well be wrong), the hand might well have deflected the ball in another direction than heading it would, which means that disallowing it is well within the rules since you could make the argument that it would've been blocked if not for the trajectory change

That photo is slightly misleading, in that had Gibbs-White's head actually collided with Tonali, it would have struck him on the thigh i.e. his head was nowhere near Tonali's outstretched boot.

Imo one of those ones which is a bit harsh on the striker if disallowed, but harsh on the defending team if allowed. On balance I'd have said it was probably correct to disallow it.

What am I talking about? It was Forest, so never a goal!
