Reading (A) (ALL +6) Thu 3 Sept, 2pm

Annoyingly went on at 2 and couldn’t find 3 together in safe standing so took 3 seating only for them to release more safe standing seats - when selling to everyone at once why not put all the tickets up for selection, shouldn’t have been difficult..

Selling order is usually dictated by the home club.

.... really weren't these issues in 2001...you pays your money you get in the ground... progress eh...as for Cureton at GP....worse than the crossbar v Donnie...much worse.
To be honest I remember several people finding those trips quite irritating too because they didnt take cash on the turnstile which was unusual at the time, you had to go to a ticket office. New era, still ticket stress 🙂

I'm not sure it was worse. How can anything be worse than Trotta
I can't speak for @JCMcBee but it was probably worse for me than Doncaster... I was an 18 year old in a school full of Reading fans at the time, including four good friends. There was an edge to that rivalry with my friends that was unlike any other I've had when i literally spend all day with them studying ... and at a very immature age too.

We won there five times in the Championship but would still hugely enjoy doing it again OF COURSE.

Got tickets for this and bringing a mate too. What’s the travel situation like if you want to park. Anybody know?

So we don't get the whole of the stand behind the goal now, we get 1/2 and 2 sections in the west stand, is that correct?

Got a sneeky feeling we wont sell this out.
I’d be disappointed if we can’t sell 5,000 for such a local match. I guess being on tv might put some off? For me I’m taking my daughter and neither of us usually have the opportunity to go away midweek. Should still be a great atmosphere and no doubt we’ll out sing them.

Despite the low prices could be viewed as one to miss with Leeds, Bournemouth and Villa costs considered.

All those who cruelly missed out on Bournemouth will surely want to be involved though 👀

All of those i can never get a ticket that the club cut TAPS for, have ample opportunity for this game and the others mentioned.
They want to get a move on or they wont be able to get any again

Maybe if you like going to the same grounds over and over again!
Appreciate some are just not excited about the cup or struggle with midweek football.

No reason to think we won't have a big turnout anyway just because we can't measure it on a seat map.

I'm trying to buy two tickets but the system will only allow me to buy one. Any help will be welcome.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, even with only seats together deselected.

I thought supporting a club was to follow the club at wvery opportunity, not just for new grounds.
That logic will answer some questions though

I tend to lean towards choosing games I get to based on if I've been to a place before or not.

Reading (A) (ALL +6) Thu 3 Sept, 2pm

Hence why i said at every opportunity.
I thought we follow a club to follow the club, not grounds
Yes indeed. But I was responding to the suggestion that people might give this a miss in favour of some PL away games, which your comment could also be addressing... "I thought supporting a club was to follow the club at every opportunity"

Some people choose to go to new grounds if they can't do every game every season, and this is local for most of us and also a novelty these days.

Reading are a rival of ours. I expect any Brentford fan to want to go.

The prem novelty has quickly worn off going by our away following generally

I’m buzzing for this more then any of the Prem grounds bar Fulham.
Agree.
It was the best draw for a couple of. reasons.

Brum was a top draw too, wasnt much interest in that either

I suspect we’ll have around 3,500 there.

I remember being there for a 4-0 drubbing when there were only about 800 of us so it’s not too bad!
