Rather end to end last 5 mins with some very dubious defending on our right. Good point though

Nah come on think about the middle of 2021-22, pretty much all of 2023-24 and the first few games of last season.

Harsh. Both were very solid. It was in front of them where we couldn’t control the ball.

Not the greatest performance again. Felt like we couldn't hold the ball and make something of it. Too many poor touches, but glad for Schade and two good goals. A very good point. You Redssss

Bournemouth have a lengthy European campaign coming up too, they'll do well enough but cant see them sustaining these energy levels all season.. suspect in the reverse fixture we'll overpower them.

I am! Pretty sure we will play much better than today.

Last two games we have been pretty dire tbh but, given the way we were set up to play at the start of the season, we are clearly taking time to adjust to the absence of Jensen and our two first choice CBs

The concerns for me are:

Igor looks very low on confidence (needs a goal)
Neither Jaidon or Dango are making a strong case to be starters
For whatever reason, we seem unable to revitalise Damsgaard

The big plus, of course, is Schade, who looks transformed in terms of confidence and positivity! :)

Well we're still unbeaten so can't complain too much.
We do however seem to be struggling to keep hold of the ball in midfield and upfront. We're misplacing easy passes which is then putting us under pressure as we're out of position. We can't carry on like that but we're still not losing so some positives to take.

What’s happened Bees? Such a great start but the last 2 have seen us play fairly poor and lucky to get 2 draws. Tough one up next, we’re becoming the draw specialist like the tail end of last season. Got to get Igor back in the goals, maybe he and a couple of others need to start against Reading.

A point away from home is a good point. However, we have to do a lot better than the performances in last two games, if ambitions are to be achieved.
Kevin's goal fest is a massive bonus whilst Igor will be up and running once he opens his account.

I knew this wasn't going to be easy and said 2-2 at work, thought we started well but Bournemouth grew in to it and once they got in front I thought that was it but their keeper messes up big style and we hang in there for the point, albeit at times with more than a little good fortune
Still a point is a point and we are still unbeaten.... On to Chelsea we go

We’ve gone away from home, drawn, led and scored twice. Cant expect to have it all our own way.

Got away with that one, but we battled and didn't hide away.

Pitch looked a bit heavy and we struggled to move the ball well. Sangaré, Schade and Ajer played well, as did Kelleher, whose handling was excellent. Dango again looked exhausted after five minutes.

Front three just not quite clicking at the moment - Thiago rarely getting a sight on goal despite always putting in a shift, whilst as a trio they're not really showing the incisive attacking play of last season. Thay said, Schade playing very well at the moment.

A very good point.

Being able to pick up a point against top sides when you’re not at your best is a pretty hand let habit to have.

Whilst spurs were awful, it doesn’t detract from how good we were first game.

We weren’t Great today. And whilst we need to find a way to get Igor up and running, Kev seems transformed.

I’ve seen posts saying if we want Europe, we SHOULD be beating Muff. I find that laughable. Yes we were bad, but give respect to the sides around us. We’ve played three really good sides already.

KA needs to get momentum back, but we’re still unbeaten. Hardly cause for concern

We fought hard today and good use of subs. Truly have 2 XIs worth of Premier League players.

2 matches until the international break. If going into it we’re in the 4th round of the League Cup and on 9 pts, it will have been an excellent first mini-phase of the campaign. Even if not, we’ve made a solid start.

Surprised by some of the reactions on here this evening. Bournemouth finished sixth, and only lost two games out of 19 at home, last season. I’ll happily take a point there all day long if we’re not on top form.

As others have said, Thiago desperately needs service. Hopefully we’ll get past Chelsea and get Jensen back after the break, as he seems to make the system work best at the moment.

Completely agree with this.

Especially the last bit. You feel KA very much views Jensen at the cog that makes it all work and without him it’s not quite there

A few draws in a row leaves opinions on a knife’s edge. Now it either extends or we’re unbeaten in 5 or we’re winless in 4. All depends on the match at the end of the stretch.

6 points may be about right for our performances, perhaps 2 wins and 2 losses if we had no draws. It is a good feeling that even in our bad matches a win hasn’t been too out of reach.

We’re badly missing peak Damsgaard.
I don’t know what’s going on with him (whether it’s chronic illness or something else) but we’re not starting him regularly and when he comes on he looks considerably below his best (I don’t know about today but I assume the same).
Jensen not being able to replace him compounds this.
