Attack! Attack! Attack, attack, attack.

Primarily because we have relatively few options to rotate central midfield and at the back. Suspect we’ll fill in gaps and form an XI around the following:
Valdimarsson
Henry
Malick Diouf
Kayode
Damsgaard
Ouattara
Wilson
Furo
Nunes

I thought Frederick might get a start for this but oddly wasn't even on the bench yesterday, which to me suggests he won't. With Diouf's height and speed, could he do a job at centre back against League One opposition?

In his cameo yesterday, he didn't remotely look like a centre back – he operated along the touchline.

Maybe he'll try Hickey there, though I don't like the idea of risking both him and Kayode in the same game unless one has their minutes managed with Friday in mind

Rest him and let’s see what Hickey can do in midfield with Damsgaard and YY/Sangare sharing minutes during game.

Love the opening lines from this post on their forum (link below), resignation at how far ahead of them we are as a club, even taking into account the last time they were in the Prem 😉

Interestingly, in one of the replies, seems they have barely sold more than us for the game:

"From my estimates: so far we've sold 6,816 home tickets (as usual notwithstanding disabled or hospitality). So still looking like we'll probably end up with a typical midweek home crowd we'd see for a league game (or perhaps slightly worse)."

He's only had 45 minutes for the B team since he made his return.

Start strong…get at least 2 goal lead at h/t and then rest the 5 that need a rest….i think KA will be worried he’s got competition now for manager 👀💪😬

I looked at this the wrong way up. He'll dont fancy those three at the back was my first thought!

Big Hakon up front as the target man 💪

That was more of an illustration of what he could do to fit Hickey in the midfield than my line up prediction. I doubt Fredrick plays, I'm worried he risks both Ajer and Schuster as well as a few other starters next Friday.

I personally think we need more out of the first 11 at the moment. With the international break coming up I think we pick strong and hope a couple of players hit form for the Chelsea game:

A team full of quality but lacking a little in form, good opportunity to play themsevles into it.

From their forum it looks like Marriot has a tight hamstring, if they risk him and doesn’t work the manager will get it left right and center

Surely Carvalho should feature, unless injured and Furo and rest either Schuster or Ajer, Vitaly and Dams. Who is likely to be captain, ? Ajer if he plays.
