I’m going early in my feelings that Yarmo is going to keep some VERY good midfielders on their toes in our starting 11. He seems to have moved from the phase of being new, young and therefore sensibly cautious not to f***ck up and ruin his career or our match, to being packed full of SWAGGER.

Playing alongside Sangare will lift both their levels even higher especially with Janelt at an all time peak physique.
We have a hell of a midfield emerging after seasons where we had a great first 11.

Palmer better check his insurance.

I think we need Dams to start this game as he has the eye to pick a pass to split Chelsea's defence and their defence is definitely at moment their weak spot. I get that might make us slightly more lightweight in midfield but risk could ensure Chelsea play more on backfoot.

The Blues make the short trip across west London to take on Brentford in the Premier League’s Friday night kick-off, hoping to get back to winning ways after last week’s 2-2 draw with Hull City at Stamford Bridge.

There were concerns over Joao Pedro after the striker withdrew from the Brazil squad for the upcoming international break, and James as he missed the start of training on Tuesday. However, Alonso insists they have not been ruled out of our next match.

I imagine the more likely, and less fun, story is they've agreed with the Brazilian FA that he can probably get through a match tomorrow night but the 3 weeks till the next match would be better spent rehabbing whatever injury he has rather than go travel and play a couple of friendly matches.
