Schuster has to be the archetypal example of a player seizing his opportunity to make a claim for the starting shirt in a fit squad. He’s probably still not #1 in his position but he’s going to make it a hell of a difficult decision to play Nathan immediately when he’s fit. I love it.

I want to shout out to Dams for today. Yes, I would have also given MoM to Schuster for a great performance (damn, his positional awareness is amazing), but Dams' pressing was absolutely incredible. He was always there and always pressing, and he also took the ball deep and made the right pass several times. THIS is the Dams I want to see.
