What can you say?
Chelsea, for all their millions well and truly dumped on the floor.
Absolutely brilliant performance from one and all, but Schuster and Damsgaard were outstanding, that is the Damsgaard we have come to know and what can you say about Schuster, he has come in with big boots to fill and quite frankly on the form he's showing it will be very hard to leave him out again.

No voice left on the train! What an evening- another one. Grew into the first half and were the better side by half time. Second how - wow! Yes they had a few corners but we defended well when under pressure.
One more positive - thought the atmosphere in the West was outstanding. What a great night!! You Beeeeeeesssss!!!!!

I know recency bias will be playing a part here, but dare I say one of my favourite ever nights at the Gtech, bettered only by Arsenal and Muff. Perhaps because I can’t stand that lot and we’ve finally beaten them at home, but the togetherness and unity of the team tonight, especially at the back, was a privilege to watch. And an atmosphere to match. Coyb.

I thought Chelsea had the measure of us in the first half to be honest. It was fairly even but I think they edged it and we struggled to play through them very much. They always seemed to have a player spare to pick up the loose ball in midfield.

2nd half we were much more on the front foot, even before the goal. After that we marshalled them pretty well and I don't think they created any real chances. Classic breakaway goal and lovely to see Fab score at the end, almost exactly a year after his injury time one against Chelsea last season! I think we'd have won even without the 2 late ones but nice to be able to actually enjoy the last 10 minutes!

Looking at the game as whole, tactically Andrews got it spot on.

Schuster was man of the match, really excellent, great that Thiago scored but his all round game before that was superb anyway and Damsgaard will always be the main man for me.

We’re hard to beat even when we’re not at our best and when we’re on it we will beat most teams, a good combination

Tricky first 20 minutes but we grew into the game and got better and better. Chelsea were the opposite and looked like a rabble who'd never played together by the end. I think if we'd played another 20 minutes we'd have got a couple more. Schuster was sensational and undroppable.

I have no idea what the manager changed to make them play that way after the first half. Brentford made Chelsea look pedestrian after the first hour. Once the goal went in - so happy for Anthony - they seemed to lose any fight they had in them.

Schade or Thiago could have had one more.

Nearly had a heart attack at that Kelleher miscalculation on the back pass 😱

I hope nobody doubts the manager after this result.

No idea why I love Schutezer so much… he was good but I feel we’ve all bought into something that I cant put my finger on

A few thoughts on the game itself whilst i'm only 7 beers deep.

A cagey first half where we looked quite content to make it scrappy and keep Chelsea at arms length. I think we learned that half that Chelsea aren't at it... and a bit of chaos might win us the game.

2nd half Chelsea's tactics were poor. They pushed Neto far too high which left Schade with the freedom of the Gtech. I said at the time "they're here for the taking" and quite frankly we took it, and then some. Whilst i can still remember, my thoughts on the players

Kelleher- Apart from one little nervous moment, absolutely imperious as always. Our best ever goalkeeper, I feel safer with him then Raya and Szczęsny
Kayode- Yeh looked shakey again, poor first touch and positioning was wild at times... his kid's keeping him up at night clearly. Better 2nd half
Schuster- My word, looks like he's played for us for 10 years.... remarkable for 20 years old... VDB and Collins will be aware he's here
Ajer- Loved his runs 2nd half, clearly instruced to create chaos, which he did. Defended really well too, back in form
KLP- With Schuster, my motm. He's not losing his place anytime soon, he's too good going forward
Janelt- Slow start to the game but got better and better
Yarmo- Sad to see him go off, was very good
Damsgaard- Thought he would get subbed for Sangare, glad he wasn't because of his assist for the Schade run... not his best game but he's still effective
Anthony- So pleased for the lad, easy goal but he was still there to take it
Thiago- YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
Schade- Really good again, our best overall player this season

Hickey- excellent defensively, starts for me next game
Sangare- Warming into it, i'd like him further forward
Outtara- Didn't see much of him tbh
Diouff- Looked composed
Carvahlo- YESSSSSSSSSSS, i've been his biggest critic... but goal aside, he looks sharp to me

Back to beers, but wow... one of the most memorable games

How f***ing good, Chelsea were good across the midfield and we struggled to impose in the first half other than a few moments.

Second half was spellbinding. At 1.0 and 2.0 we got put under a lot of pressure and some of the defensive work was incredible, but some of the football we played :oops: . KLP tearing them one. Dams twisting them in and out, YY and Vita pickling passes and snuffing Chelsea out, the subs came on and we looked even stronger. Fabio doing a clone of last year in the 94th minute again. Every player needs a mention, but this lad Shuster, are you f***ing sure? Just how good is this boy.

Only criticism from me is we aren't quite getting the counter attacks right often enough, we had another 6-7 that petered out with the wrong pass, wrong decision or a poor shot. When that clicks we are beating teams like Chelsea by 7.

Cracking atmosphere.

Chelsea are a right bunch of diving whinging ****s as well aren't they, and sorry, but need to mention it, the ref had a horrible first half.

Yes, they were pretty bad too.

Just listening to the radio on the home. Chelsea fan was saying that if their players spent there time concentrating on the game instead of surrounding the ref, then they might win something. It was constant moaning at corners, free kicks and during the game. They were embarrassing.

We were always going to score tonight, all about the defensive performance. We had everything they did not in that regard, cohesion and a proper desire to keep a clean sheet.

Controversial opinion but I think 3-0 flatters a bit. First half Chelsea were better but only really had the one chance and we contained them well.

Second half they dropped off and we did well to take advantage, but I’ve seen us play far better.

Damsgaard I can’t get my head around at the moment. He has moments of brilliance, but then also seems to be giving the ball away at a higher rate than I remember last season.

Thought schuster and KLP were excellent.

An excellent squad performance from the Bees tonight.
Young Schuster was outstanding.He and Ajer a forming an understanding at the centre of the defence.
KLP must have impressed Thomas Tuchel who I believe was in attendance.
Again the midfield worked their socks off.
The forwards done their bit too.
To do that to Chelsea, must make a few pundits make note of Brentford's intentions this season.
Thiago's goal meant so much to the team,himself and the supporters tonight!
COYB's we are a 'BIG' bus stop in Hounslow.
