Back to back top 10 finishes in the PL. Never thought we would see this point ever in our history when we were struggling under Butcher in League Two.
3 top 10 finishes in the last 4 seasons.

Back to back finishes above Fulham!

Kings of W London again.

2nd Highest London team in the Premiership, missed a European spot by one point, let that sink in. I doubt there’s any of us would have thought either one of those things would have been achievable just a few short years ago. 🐝🐝🐝
Just like we were pre war!! Let’s hope there’s no repeat 😉

Getting closer to Europe and with a few quality additions there is no reason why we can't trouble the top 8 next season.

KA has a season behind him as head coach in which he will have learnt so much that can be taken into next season.

Now looking forward to us having Brazils number 9 in the WC 😍

We went to Liverpool and they couldnt beat us.
They were hanging on at the end and we went toe to toe with them, to the extent they were happy to hang on for a draw.
Plus four of our points were taken off Liverpool, and we score 4-3 on agg.

A few of us fellow 🐝 supporters will be having our own celebratory end of season lunch, in a local pub prior to Sunday's game at Anfield.
Wow, what a season, thank you everyone who is part of this 'special' football club to us all 👏👏👏.
It will also be in memory of our friend, Mary who lost her battle to cancer 😮‍💨.
Our 'group' will have representatives at Sunday's game.
Mary RIP 🙏.
COYB's 90 minutes (plus injury time) until the end of a memorable 2025-26 season.
One last push and it will be europe.
🤞⚽🐝.
An update on the above.
A good afternoon was had by us all at the Kings Arms, TW8 yesterday.
The team and supporters efforts were also top drawer at Anfield 👏👏👏.
The team finished just short of making europe next season!
But wow, what a season!
All enjoy the close season, fixtures issued 19th June.
COYB'S 🐝🐝🐝.
Mary RIP🙏.

You are significantly underplaying it there. We were the top West London club at least 4 times in the 1930's alone.

History didn't start in 1991.
Didn't know that, thank you. I thought that the first time was the season we finished 5th in 1939. Need to re-read my 100 year history book.

Lots of media discussion about the three Bs over the past few days. When you look at the firepower the ‘big’ guns have, it really is extraordinary how well run the clubs are…

A few years ago, went round Mick Scarlett's, he showed me all of his father's pre-war programmes.
I pulled one out at random, it was dated just prior to Christmas, and Brentford were TOP of Division One.
I'm pretty sure it was 1935-6.
I didn't realise just how good we were :hat:
1935-6 through to 1938/9. In fact we were the top side in the whole of London in '35-6.

Thank you for reminding me of my post because it prompted me to look in to another aspect of it. I knew that we have finished as the top side in West London 6 times but it had never before occurred to me to look into how many occasions Fulham have achieved the same thing. The answer appears to be never 😁

Being the only London club in the top two divisions to win this weekend can't have happened too often before
