I have contacted the club. My initial thoughts are if you are going to produce a retro shirt , surely a 50yr anniversary of a memorable season would be high on the list of candidates. Good chance of including Bukta branding also.
I wouldn't think Adidas would give BFC permission to use their branding.

Without the manufacturers branding these replica shirts mean nothing to me. 77-78 shirt would be faceless without Bukta logo and more so the Adidas one that everyone wants without the trefoil logo and the trademarked three stripes down the sleeves.

BU has some, including 15 shirts i donated, but most of those on show were from supporters.
The missing seasons were due to the sponsors logos being so sticky that any replica shirt was ruined by washing or sticking to other shirts in a wardrobe! Match worn weren’t forthcoming from the supporter base, sadly.

They asked for a image of the shirt for context.
I did stress the importance of the Bukta branding and hoped the shirt would not be the sole celebration of such a momentous season in BFCs history. I did also suggest inviting any living 1977 -78 squad members to a celebration event at Lionel Road.
