Another anthem where we’ve not acted like numpties…booing/whistling/singing-over the oppositions…that’s been quite a few recently.

Never makes you look good when you do that so pleasantly surprised we seem to be doing it less suddenly/lately it seems to me.

Belting own goal 😂

1-0 souffal former West ham kicks it into his own goal for no apparant reason

Great finish

Piss poor own goal, under no pressure, but should have been. Gordon would have been hitting that 6 yard box in front of the defender or the blind side, Eze just stopped really.

Yes 🙌
Neither attacker or defender covered themselves in glory there

The sheer quality of Bellingham’s passing (not to mention all his other attributes) is Sawyersesque. The shape, pace and accuracy is astonishing. Dixon described it well, in commentary. I think we’re looking at the best player in the world at this precise moment.

Boom 2 fantastic balls from Anderson and Rogers. Kane makes look Easy

Not sure why the pundit was going on about Harry Kane. Probably the easiest chance he’ll ever have. That was world class from Rogers pure and simple.

On top of all that, he is the first player we have had since Gazza who can pick it up stationary in his own half, sell a dummy then burst forward 50 yards at pace beating players.

He mentioned the cross several times, he said they were the two best passes of the game. He can’t just ignore mentioning who actually kicked it in.

Our defence is still sh*t when we get under any pressure

Fully agree how City paid that amount of money for Guehi is beyond me. In my opinion there must be better English CH than him and Konsa ( I know Konsa isn’t playing) but neither of those two are of International quality.

Love the fancy dress in the studio. Wright’s Frank Spencer is very convincing.

He’s lost his onions on the way to Wembley

they must have made 15 fouls tonight without a yellow, MLS pulls a shirt and the card flips out, must be Englands first foul of the game.

Eva Herzegova would make a more useful Horny Czech in goal i reckon

When I try to reply to a post I hit the reply button but it comes up with a quote. Any ideas of how to fix that ?

Q: Is there anything Harry Kane can’t do?

A: Say sausages

What is up with Garner at LB when MLS is on the pitch? That's two games in a row that's happened.

I’m not sure how it looks on the TV, but it’s flat as a pancake in the ground.

I left after the third goal. Was only really there to collect my "caps". Judging by the thousands walking down Wembley Way just after 9pm I wasn't the only one.

Paper aeroplanes landing on the pitch got bigger cheers than the goals.
I’ve been a good few times to watch England and it’s a peculiar crowd.

It feels more like an event crowd than a football one. My first England international at Wembley was the win over Hungary to qualify for the 1982 World Cup Finals. 92,000 packed into the old stadium. The atmosphere was spine tingling, the roar of the crowd the loudest I'd ever heard. Last night was all about pre match fireworks, a DJ and music so loud you couldn't hear a peep from the crowd even as the teams came out. It reminded me why I only tend to go to an England game once every couple of years now. Just long enough of an interval between to forget what a soulless experience it is.

We left on 75 minutes because my wife was coming down with food poisoning so we needed to get home quickly. Its the first time I've left a match before the final whistle in donkeys years and yet there were already so many thousands on their way out ahead of us that the route down Wembley Way to Wembley Park had the 'advance one hundred metres and stop' queuing system in full operation to cope with the crowds.

Yeah, agreed. There are a few occasions when it springs to life; Spain a few weeks ago was decent, I recall an Italy WC qualifier a couple of years ago that was good.

For the most part though I struggle to distinguish one game from the next.

The Euro home games will make it worth it.
