Keith Andrews. #BrentfordFC On Kevin Schade... 'He probably wasn't right at halt-time, he wanted to give it a go. He's picked up a shoulder injury so we'll see how he is in the next few days.'
Shoulder? Looked more like a classic collar bone crushed by fat arse injury by the area he was holding his hand

those are way too painful in my experience to do much at all, let alone leap in the air and try and score just before he took himself to sit down..

If you are going to get sent off for violent conduct he should have made it count and disembowelled cash. An opportunity missed.
:imwith:

Could have been a very different outcome today if Kevin had followed through properly earlier this year.

Yet the club still refuse to even acknowledge my numerous written offers of taking up the apparently vacant head murder coach position.

Hanivg seen it back now Schade, who is going to be way to quick for Cash, tries to join a counter attack but is hauled down by his arm which no doubt caused what could be a significant injury. I don't blame the referee here because he is following the ball that has switched sides but the linesman will have been 10 yards away and does nothing. Why?

Why wasn’t Cash sent off for that off the ball challenge?
We all saw Cash go down hoping for a foul, look to the ref, who for once didn’t give a foul to Villa and then start rolling around like he’d been mortally wounded, despicable gamesmanship.

I hate McGinn but he gives as good as he gets, but Cash is next level little cheating gobshite

He did nothing, the whole game. Why change in that moment?

As this thread/injury seems to be the current "I damaged/tore my xxxx muscle/bone by doing yyyy and was in agony/out of action for zzzz weeks/months" (🙄)
I'll add mine:

"Not sure if this is exactly what happened to Kev, but my left arm was cut off in a freak chainsaw incident and I couldn't eat soup with eat for 2 years until I had a prosthetic one fitted. So I cant see him being back until after the 2028 Inrernational Break".

I said this at the time, was very similar to what happened with another player before - Salah maybe?
Cash knew that he would potentially injure Schade by doing what he did and for that it makes him an absolute disgrace

Ah yes, champions league final, ramos did it to salah

Cash of course later got booked, and as for McGinn again... we got a yellow for complaining he should be booked (and he should have been), as well as 90mins of dissent... so they should have been down to 9 :)

I’m glad you got that prosthesis and could get on with your life

“No ‘arm done” as they say

My prognosis exactly

Surely if it was a serious shoulder/collarbone injury then he would have had his arm in a sling straightaway?
He certainly wouldn't have gone all through half time and come out for the second half. That's what I'm holding onto for now.

Your rationale sounds , and hopefully is sensible. That said, I think back to another German - Bert Trautman

Yeah. Have you "done" your rotator cuff at all? Painful as hell, but heals quickly. Imagine landing awkwardly while your rotator cuff is tender...that would really hurt.

But all I'm doing is adding to the conjecture.

Either way...he's fit and everything's amazing.
He's not fit and KLP gets a chance on the wing.

Win-win!

Because that appears to be their role these days, unacceptable.

I agree with 'he's fit and everything's amazing.' Not so sure about the KLP bit.

Craig Pawson might have had to doet something if he did do the right thing, but he set his stall out very early when giving them free kicks for the slightest gust of wind.
Kev gets nothing at the best of times and yesterday was a prime example of that.

Lots of total guesswork on here.

All I would say is that if there was any risk at all of it being an injury requiring weeks/months of recovery, there is zero chance he would have been allowed to start the second half.

This is not the 1970s 'run it off, son - you'll be fine.'
Unless a twinge became a tear when he twisted on that shot/hairline fracture was revealed.

Kevin Schade

We all agree that Cash is a cynical nasty thug, he knew exactly what he was doing in that incident. It is unbelievable that none of the officials reacted. Twice now Schade has been a victim to this cheat. This needs addressing....
