Liverpool (H) 17 Oct.

NO PICCADILLY line west of Hammersmith tomorrow.
NO DISTRICT line from Turnham Green to Ealing Bdy. tomorrow.

I’ll go Lizzie line from Hayes & H. for a change…
Assume District Line to Gunnersbury is ok?

Is it right theres no service on the piccadilly line westbound and district line from Turnham green to ealing broadway tomorrow?

Liverpool (H) 17 Oct.

I believe Richmond - Upminster District line route is still ok, so Gunnersbury will be open

Public transport for me tomorrow for the 1st time in yonks! Car longer than expected in garage.

2 alternatives, Hatfield-Finsbury Park- Vauxhall-Kew Bridge or
Hatfield- Highbury & Islington- Gunnersbury- Walk.

Anyone any experience of those routes??!!

I'd say the second one is preferable. The Mildmay line runs every 10-15 minutes between Highbury & Islington and Gunnersbury. Vauxhall to Kew Bridge is a less frequent service.

Google maps gave me those 2 options. Many moons ago, I went via Vauxhall, once, when I needed to use public transport. Think I'll do that again. Thanks for input, though.

Seems sensible. The Vauxhall - Kew Bridge service is far more frequent on a match day so you shouldn't be waiting long.

Don't have to walk so far, either, for this oldie! Just the queue after the match @ KB station!

Vauxhall–Kew Bridge is 24 mins, trains at 26 and 56, with 16-min direct trains at 13:52 and 14:22 tomorrow. It’s my regular route. Rear carriage for quick exit.

Are you cycling today to the Brentford v Liverpool game?

If you would like to join up with the Sustaina-Bees, UEFA has been in touch to ask if they can do a bit of filming along the way!

We will cycle from Ealing Town Hall at 11:45am to arrive at the Gunnersbury Park Café around 12, stay there until 1 and then ride on at 1 to the ground with filming and interviews along the way. There will be a food/beverage offer (at the café or a voucher for using in the ground). You can meet up with us in Gunnersbury Park.

The sort of questions that they may ask you are:

>How long have you been a Brentford fan?
>What is it like cycling to a match together with other Brentford supporters?
>How do you think initiatives like Bike to Brentford can make a difference, both environmentally
and within the supporter community?

If you would like to join in, please indicate your interest by clicking on the link below so we have some idea of numbers.

A303 closed all weekend at Chicklade for those heading up by car from SW.

Oh poo.
Presumably there’s a diversion route ?
Yeah, just down through Hindon by the looks of things.
Not a long stretch, so hopefully won't add too much time on.
I'm on WCBM today, so already on the M5 on our way.....

Thanks for everyone who replied. Went Hatfield- H&I-Gunnersbury in the end. The tkt office person couldn't give me a through ticket via Vauxhall, also the cheapest route was going via Gunnersbury. Unfortunately the tkt I had said Kew Bridge, also saying route must be via Camden Road(!) which is on the Mildmay Line! No probs at Gunnersbury when I got off, though. No check when boarding train after match, though!

Absolutely ridiculous that SWR provide two extra trains that have come via Ascot and already full when they arrive.
