Bloke infront of us never came back for the second half! Most blatant Liverpool fan. Mind you, I’ve not actually seen the actual Season ticket holders for about two years now. Are the club even doing anything about this type of behaviour? Clearly playing the system!

Keep reporting it, keep a record of which games you report and then follow up with an email directly to the club - I have reported seats XYZ for (insert reasons) for the last 10 home games and still the issue persists. Please confirm these seats/seat holders are under investigation.

A few different people around us today. One bloke in front of me stood there all game without a word or movement when anything happened (at either end).

Oh dear!

Reckon it was a brentford fan that bought it, he would need 100 TAPs otherwise.
Will be interesting to see who bought it on the exchange. Mate who put it on there will be speaking to the club on Monday.

It’s amazing how this thread seems to rear its head after a defeat.

Or, a defeat means that any away fans celebrating in home areas results in this thread being bumped.

We’d only conceded one goal at home this season prior to yesterday so unsurprising it’s now busy again especially as Liverpool fans are known to go to great lengths to get into home areas.

I think you mean this thread and previous editions rear it head every time we played Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea... the result is not the issue it's the teams we play.
By the sounds of it a lot of the suspicion was around people who vanished before Liverpool scored anyway.

Liverpool is always the most problematic game of the season for this matter.

Yesterday was actually quite amusing in E115....it ranged from obvious scallys getting removed by stewards after being spotted celebrating the equaliser....and having the temerity to join in with the away support as they were being led out...to tourists with Brentford tops on...and half and half scarves.... standing up and clapping VvD as he acknowledged the away support before the start of the game...then filming the away support for the remainder of the game...they were Scandinavians as I found out...as I suggested they put their phone away and watch the game... it's always always the case when we play this lot...it really must be a Liverpool tout thing....I do hope the stewards got the seat numbers particularly of the scally types they ejected....a few years from now might be a different story.

Seats 185 and 186 row 3 in the South Stand.
Liverpool supporters who justed watched the game.
Chelsea fans have sat there,Tottenham fans and the seats were empty for Sunderland.

...my son and I saw Matt Smith...the BT football presenter.... getting on the tube at Gunnersbury after the game...dressed in his civies.... he's a Liverpool supporter....bet he didn't get a ticket from a tout.

Touts were offering tickets outside Kew bridge station. Not sure how that works in digital ticket era

I could tell from miles who was a Liverpool supporter, half and half scarves and walking calmly to show they “belong” and ffs you can tell just by their new mug faces

Things started to get quite hairy in N125 on Saturday. A 'fan' in the crowd recorded one of the Liverpool corners and then had his head in his hands when Liverpool missed that one on one. A couple of our fans around him had enough and one in particular got very aggressive toward him and basically forced him out. The guy seemed to try to ride it out but eventually did leave after enough 'encouragement' (and it was best for his health to have done so...) It could have turned ugly but fortunately just about didn't.

If things had escalated then it's a ban for all involved which wont impact the away infiltrator whatsoever as they're probably on a one off visit. Best to stick with the process and report to a Steward at the time and to the club through the seat number.

Easier said than done in the heat of things I know!

100% agree, it was getting pretty uncomfortable and a woman did get up to leave the situation briefly.

I'm all for away fans being dealt with but I'm not for violence either. Fortunately it didn't come to that.

As mentioned same in N122 but the steward didn’t do anything when others told him calmly to remove him; After it really escalated almost copy cat like you mentioned above.

I sat next to 2 Sunderland fans in the North stand right next to the away fans section. Had an interesting chat, they were respectful and made no obvious sign that they were Sunderland supporters. I can't understand it when idiots are so blatantly obvious and don't just have the sense to sit on their hands!

Saw that… best the 2 left when they did as it was in their best interest health wise 👀😁

There was another mate a row behind those two trying to act surprised and he was going “nope not a Liverpool fan he’s a Brentford fan” cool story bro, then proceeded to stream the game from his phone to his mate for some unknown mystic reason

Im not sure they would have made it obvious they were Sunderland fans when Brentford were playing Liverpool.
Not like they would be celebrating a goal for either team 🤷‍♂️

They hand you an old £20 quid burner phone, doesn't even need a sim. You throw it in the bin after the game. Its a small incidental cost in the scheme of things.
