Everton v Chelsea - DRAW DRAW DRAW
Fulham v Hull City - sigh
Manchester City v Ipswich - City, every point they get goes down the drain
Newcastle v Aston Villa - NOT a home win.
Bournemouth v Sunderland - who cares, but Sunderland predicted to be worse off at end of season - so marginal Away win.
Brighton v Crystal Palace - Palace please. Unlikely however.
Leeds v Manchester United - NOT a home win. DRAW best
Nottingham Forest v Arsenal - ummmm, I guess we're not going to finish above Arsenal, so Arsenal.
Tottenham v Coventry - Coventry for the LOLs. Unless Fulham get a result of course. Ideally Spurs to match Fulham's result.

Palace have only lost 2 of the last 14 matches against Brighton in the PL and have won 3 of the last 4 (the other being a 0-0 draw).

Hopefully a continuing trend with bragging rights at stake.

Palace are a mess however. Whereas Brighton.....

I wouldn’t be too upset if Newcastle beat Villa. By the time the season ends I expect Villa to have overhauled them and they are far more likely to be a contender for CL places.

According to the tosspot Sutton's predictions, we are the 4th overachieving team points wise so far this season.

The three who have over achieved more are,

Brighton ?
Hull
Ipswich

The bottom two have surprised others as well.

It was 10 seconds and it is Martinez, but I have seen keepers holding onto the ball longer than that many times this season.

We skit want consistency, all do it, or nobody do it. As much as I hate the bloke he want wasting time, he literally saved it, looked up, left right, dropped it. I want time wasting punished, he was pretty much getting on with it.

I think he is giving back handed compliments rather than having a dig.

I’m not a great fan of Darren Fletcher on commentary, but I’m enjoying Owen Hargreaves’s summaries, such a change from the incessant nonsense that happens when McCoist is alongside Flether.

Martinez would be down for 10 minutes and stretchered off if somebody got within 5 yards of him when his team are clinging onto a lead.
Nothing to see here

Our point at Villa Park last weekend will prove to be a very good one I expect. Villa seem to have clicked, they look so dangerous going forward finishing aside. Newcastle a mess. How Botman wasn’t sent off for that horror tackle is beyond me

Brighton are frightening. What an unbelievable goal from Gomez. Seen keepers beaten from behind the half way line before but that was the best of the genre.

And 3-0 now.

How does ampadu not get a yellow for that awful could on Mbuemo?

It was a nailed on yellow.

The referee is Darren England who was the VAR responsible for the Yarmo head butt review yesterday.

Sunderland down to 10 and 1-0 down against Bournemouth.

They’re going to struggle this season IMO.

It was a DOGSO red so he’ll be back in the EFL Cup against us.

Leeds 0-1 Man Utd

Bryan has fluffed a couple of chances but makes it third time lucky.

Nine clubs in the PL have only won one game in the last six games. Ranging from us in 6th position and Sunderland in 19th.

They’re a shambles, incredible how quickly it’s all falling apart.

Won the FA Cup 2024-25, Community Shield and the Conference League 2026-26. Now look like a squad where half of them don’t want to be there. Maybe Glasner did know what he was doing?

They’ve sold players (Eze, Lacroix, Munoz etc) but so have all the nascent Premier League clubs. The recruitment has been average: Strand Larsen £45m, Johnson £35m, Pino £27.5m, Canvot £20m, Q. Timber £20m, Khalhaili £20m. Can’t really do much until they sell Wharton, Sarr and is Mateta even worth anything? Mess!

Hope we’re no longer looking to them as an exemplar. Although, would give a kidney to have the last two seasons they’ve had.

Arsenal have been w***. Forest getting the better of them even without their talisman Gibbs white
