I did before KO and there were still 30 or so on the exchange. So not sure if the 17,224 includes them or not

Of course 1,000 of that number will be AFC fans in home stands

Yeah I think so. Games with larger numbers of tickets left on the exchange are usually have about the same attendance as all the others.

We are now established in the PL and could undoubtedly sell more s/t and match day tkts / packages too.

Ealing Road Terrace only had a few on it. The terrace had been relaid but no barriers were installed as yet. Iirc. So 13,100 seems very inlikely.

I had the same sense of being overwhelmed for the Norwich league cup tie in 1968 (?) and remember that feeling now.Don’t remember being at the previous game and win v Hull but going on the bus from Hanwell on my own as a ten year old to the Norwich game with around 17000 there was incredible and I was definitely out of my depth!!

I went to watch that game. I think the Brentford team were out of their depth that night too!

Then not the actual attendance.I remember when the attendance at Wembley was quoted at 100,000 and myself and friends often bunged the turnstile operator a quid to get in. Now at GTec it’s less, fewer, least,lower than the stated attendance.
