Brentford Fixtures and Changes 2026/27

There used to be three international breaks and now there are two. Isn't that less stopping and starting?
Or "fewer stops and starts" for the grammar tarts that stalk these hallways.
It was
Play 3
STOP
Play 4

Play 4
STOP

It is now
Play 5

A three week break rather than a 1 week break. A full calendar month between home games due to internationals, it’s f***ing sh*t no matter how you carve it up.

Brentford Fixtures and Changes 2026/27

Remaining December fixtures just announced.

Arsenal, Man City and Newcastle all on the box for December (in addition to the Christmas fixtures announced earlier)
Fulham not selected 🤷‍♂️ Thinking about it, why put the club that's bottom of the league the box!

8pm kick off v Man City opens up a ground hopping spot, FA Cup 2nd round day as well 🍺

Brentford Fixtures and Changes 2026/27

There are details of other matches in the post which is useful

So we can try and see why West London Derby has been ignored

Also, I think the more evening kick offs we get for the 'big 6' fixtures the better since the atmosphere is usually very good under the lights. I think it gives us a real advantage over a 3pm kick off. Last Saturday was the flattest it's been at the Gtech for a Liverpool game, at least until Yarmo's red spiced things up a bit, and I don't think it's a coincidence it was the first daytime home fixture against them.

3-3 game was a 3pm kickoff, wasn't it?

3-3 was a 5:30 wasn't it??
1-4 was 3:00PM though....
And 0-2??
Actually...
3-3 was 19:30
1-4 was 12:30
0-2 was 15:00

Our 3-1 win was 19:30
Last season's 3-2 win was 20:00

So we definitely do better against Liverpool at least when we have evening kick offs....
3 defeats from 12:30 and 15:00 games.
2 wins and a draw from 19:30 and 20:00...

So we can add 2 of the 3 December weekends as games picked for TV

Brentford Fixtures and Changes 2026/27

1230 is a bit crap but even worse for Newcastle fans. Clearly no thought given to them
not really , when they played at Spurs there were 100s of them in Millers pub near Kings Cross at 10 am and that was a 530 ko !

TNT Sport have given a lot of thought to selecting a match and time for maximum inconvenience as they need to drive up subscribers.

We seem to get loads of home ones, but when was the last time we had an away fixture that was a televised evening kick off? 7:30 or later.

Brentford Fixtures and Changes 2026/27

What’s with the evening games getting later and later. Pretty sick of it tbh.
Getting tempted just to just take the guaranteed money from the club each time and watch it on TV.
Yes. Advancing age and health issues, and living 120 miles away, mean evening games require an overnight now. There's no way I'm doing that twice in four days, whoever we're playing. It's crazy scheduling. The guaranteed money back is just about keeping me onside with having an ST, but I'm not sure for how much longer.

Oh .... Sat 21 March 8:00 v Leeds United (A)

I think because there are three clubs in the CL on the following Tuesday
And TNT have picked Liverpool at 1230 who are not one of the three
And Friday night ruled out due to midweeks

2015 is sh*t the extra 30 mins just means you get home well late ! And I live local

Brentford Fixtures and Changes 2026/27

After review...

My son and I have agreed this works for us, with a couple of exceptions, as the late fixtures are home, so workable, and the unchanged fixtures are away, with many of those aways very do-able.

So, while missing the Great North-East Run immediately ahead of us, B&HA, United and that lot up the river are all on, just missing Ipswich, possibly Coventry, due to family commitments and Arsenal because it's right pain to get to and it's on the box.

Brentford Fixtures and Changes 2026/27

So all fixtures have confirmed dates and times up until Brighton at Home on the 16th January, apart from Crawley (A) in the tin pot trophy which is pencilled in for Tuesday 10 November. It's good to have such a long run now confirmed.
