Maybe spurs should go for him :)

An amazing achievement, will find it a challenge in league one but who knows

Clearly losing to Russell Martin was too much, despite everything he’d achieved with them.

My abiding memory of him is being pissed and mocking our own fans at a charity quiz night in Stripes about 25 years ago.

It says that the parting is mutual but could just be a kind way of putting it I guess.

He has looked a bit lost in the last few weeks when interviewed and maybe he felt he had taken them as far as they could go.

They are a bit one dimensional tactical wise which has worked very well in their rise but have been found out at this level.

Price of success - take them far above where they should be and then when they do exactly as expected he gets sacked.

They are not a League One club right now so he had them punching above their weight - from the outside looking it yet another silly decision.

Reading the statement, it’s apparent that it’s been a whirlwind 5+ years. It could be that AW has realised he can’t keep up that intensity, and it’s showing, this season. Acknowledging that has resulted in it being ‘mutual’, and he’ll take a break. (Cue him turning up somewhere else in the next few weeks!)

Reckon he'd do a grand job at Fulham.

Did notice, mind you, that they've (already!) conceded 10 more than anyone else in the division!
