Was never going to pick Jensen and Dams to start when both are returning from injury and haven't played 90 mins for several weeks.

That's a midfield for if we had the cigars out.

Hickey adding some much needed steel in there. Hull are no pushovers, as their results show. This game will be won or lost in midfield.

That said, we should have enough quality to win this one. Need to get in front, as we always do, then stay in front. We can't sit back against Hull - they've looked decent going forward in 3 or 4 games.

I’d love to see Nunes come good too but I have not seen - or heard of anything he’s done that really merits his being given a Premier League start or even bench appearance.

Really excited to see Hickey play DM from the start, though wasn’t sure that KA would do it. Far better judges than I have been saying for years he’ll end up in midfield…he’s had a few cameos there but today we can see what he offers.
I’ve no doubt about his defensive abilities, but can he pick a pass that breaks the lines. Was one of Norgaard’s strengths, and even Vitaly has got in the act recently. Being genuinely two footed will help…can’t wait to find out!
