That there’s absolutely no mention of Fab in the team news article is either a good sign or an absolutely terrible one. Hope it’s the former and not an injury that gets the dreaded entire news article devoted to it.
Yes, no idea why no-one asked. Same as they didn't ask about Rico for weeks and weeks.

You wonder if some of these journalists even have a clue about Brentford
The BBC ones on sort of radio/website are generally useless. On Saturday she was all ‘x, y and Z’ for Hull, but ‘Brentford player’ or ‘Brentford get it back/kick it long’ etc. I reckon we did ok in the end, with only 7 or 8 names on the pitch…

You'd atleast expect the bloke from the Hounslow paper to ask
It seems to me that the journalists asking the questions are more interested to present a précis of their dissertation than actually ask specific questions!

Out I see till international break,we see to have an uncanny ability so sign injury prone players
Can you do an exhaustive comparison of injuries of BFC players against players signed by other clubs.

Thanks.

I do think we sign a disproportionate number of players who have previously had existing injuries, but it's just another way the club finds value. You can go back to Scott Hogan, who also got a new contract while crocked. We wouldn't have signed Damsgaard, Eriksen etc either

Yes but signing players with known issues ≠ signing injury prone players.

Exactly. Just because a player has an existing issue it doesn't mean he's for the abattoir. It just means he's dealing with something that other clubs may consider him a risk for or lower his marker value. This is what medicals are for and with Nusa we've shown that we can walk away from someone who's too much of a risk in that regard.

This was stylised in the Moneyball movie but is in a less Hollywood way what clubs like the Oakland A's benefited from against clubs with traditional scouting methods, where the eye test and physicality of a player overlooked their on field metrics.

548 premier league minutes which is equivalent to 6 games played since we signed him over 2 years ago.
What were stats for Rico Henry when we signed him? Or Scott Hogan, for that matter.

Personally, I think it’s just an unfortunate situation, especially for the individuals concerned.
