Watching it on tv doesn’t give the pass justice. Watching it almost level with when Aaron passed it from he instantly fizzed it to Jaidon without a moment’s thought and could hear the fizz on the ball which took out most of Forest team.

Five out of ten at best. He's not a central midfielder and never will be IMO. Due to lack of other options he was the right choice to start there today but I'd be surprised in the extreme if he started any more games in that position. Happy to have him as second choice RB and able to fill in on the left or even at CB in extremis.
I've watched the penalty incident multiple times and no one is going to convince me he didn't get the ball first. Contact with the leg and a slight tug of the shirt came afterwards.

He's not likely to be playing as a No 8 again with Yarmoliuk back. If he's brought off the bench against Brighton I'd suggest it'll be instead of Kayode.

Thanks. I think ‘first choice’ is an unnecessary and old school filter, it’s a squad game now. He came on as a fjnisher and I think did an outstanding job.

Every squad needs flexible players. If you're asking me if I think Aaron will ever be a great option in assorted positions then the answer is YES. Go Aaron!

Some of you don't watch Scotland play....for my sins....I do.... he's been playing higher up the pitch for the national side.... often making the opposition box during attacks.... he's learning to roam.... learning about different positions to play on the pitch.... learning being the operative word.

Hickey was caught out a few times at Hull although I don't blame him for the penalty. I thought that was down to Kelleher. However, I saw the makings of a very good defensive midfielder. You don't need pace for the position; more tactical and game awareness. We have lacked a player like that for some time. He can tackle and pass so it's worth persevering to get him up to the pace; same as Sangare. Coaches from his past clubs have said he could end up as a d/m. Darn useful to have a player who could do a job in a number of positions due to his football intelligence and versatility. We can't expect miracles immediately but equally a mistake to write him off in that d/m position.
