What's all this outrage about having to go off for a minute if you try and con the ref into stopping the game?

What the fans pay huge money to come see is rolling around, 5 minute stoppages for fake injuries, crowding the ref, wasting time randomly. And 30 of the 45 minutes in a half with the ball not in play. Give the people what they want!

Indeed.... but I've just suggested to my son that there's no point in getting wound up about incidents where VAR is concerned.... because no comparisons can actually be made with similar type incidents....it really does come down to who is on VAR duty for any given game....it actually is subjective in this regard.... whereas it's objective largely where offsides etc are concerned....VAR is therefore objective and subjective.... and imo why it's so controversial.

I'm sure we'll be making calm considered representations. Side by side videos of the dissent. And obviously yarmo vs madueke. Don't think noni should have been sent off btw, but there is NO difference, and yarmo shouldn't have been either.

Whilst it’s hard to like Arsenal mainly because of Arteta was actually pretty happy to see the Scousers lose . They have become a nasty entitled team that push everything to the limit , when there’s 60000 scousers screaming it’s hard for a ref to hold firm .

I said it once, I'll say it again. The standard of officiating is atrociously bad right now, and is ruining the game.

If we cannot get consistency, we cannot have a game. I don't mean that every decision needs to be identical, but VAR needs to be applied consistently.

On top of that, it's impossible to like this Arsenal team. Gabriel throwing himself to the floor grabbing his mouth as if he'd been punched...I would have sent him off and stamped on the place where his balls should be, as he obviously doesn't have any.
