    The Uwe Rösler Thread

right, this is no knee jerk reaction BUT from what ive seen in the last 4 months or so ive come to the decision that uwe is not the right manager to take us forward......might be a nice enough bloke but at this vital stage in the season we need someone else in to get the best out of this vast overpaid squad that we've got..........today was the final straw and its time for someone with a bit more experience within the lower league english divisions........sorry uwe but for me its aufweidersehn pet........thanks but no thanks

feel free to shoot me down but you know its the truth

    I do not agree.

At least you could've spelt his name correctly.

Agree. Shocking disgraceful performance today. The buck stops with the manager and some of the home performances recently have been awful just as bad as anything Scott served up.

Nah, can't fault the away tactics - just need to introduce some consistently good as opposed to shocking home form and we will be sorted!

Why is it a silly thread? It's someone's opinion.

Today's performance was unacceptable as have the good majority of the rest of home matches.

We are no nearer or further on in progression than we were under Scott.

Uwe said in the press conference that their goal came about because we'd left three up front... I'd like to know who the three were then because I didn't see a forward in the entire game.

Even the substitution when it came took a striker off and replaced him with someone who went wide....

    f***ing clueless..

    Voice,

You say what you think and know what you're talking about but for me this is down to the players and some sort of mental block at home. When a Northern Irish international cannot trap a bag of cement or go past a non league defender or cross a ball to a player in the same kit it cannot be the Managers fault.

I think they're letting him down horribly

    What a stupid thread!

I will only judge UR when he has the team he can choose. Most players are not his so lets see what happens in the summer.

I go to home and away games and see the difference in the games. I do not think Rosler is to blame but the sh1te he has been given. I am sure if he could get rid of most he would but then the budget is blown.

I personnal gave up this season when the likes of Bean, saunders, Weston, Alexander, Hudson, Woodman couldnt get off the wage bill. I am prepared to wait and see what changes Rosler brings in next season.

Yes, I agree for the following reasons:

He is tactically lacking which is the reason for the terrible home record. Why didn't he shake them up and half time and try something different= same strategy different people.

Logan can not defend and is too light weight like Blair before him but could be a midfielder. The midfield without Kev is non-existent;full of journeymen pro's who are not good enough anymore. Gary is not fit or is at the end of his career at 32.

What really annoyed me today was the lack of passion in the team apart from Sam and Leon. Sam is class and Mc Ginn is good but not today.

He let the only regular goalscorer that we had leave - Charlie McDonald.

Please go UWE and a decent manager would build the team with a solid defence for starters . We are not going again until he resigns.

Wrexham's midfield ran rings around us and they had the desire to win. We played like we were out all night.

The buck stops with Rosler- QED.

You're just emotional or bezzy mates with AS again.
Another bad home performance no argument but I've seen progress this season and never want to go back to that rubbish hoofball we saw last season.

i sort of agree BUT the buck stops with the manager and for me its been a very hard 4 months and unfortunately if we dont win home games we wont have anyone turning up soon.....todays crowd was pathetic and it doesnt matter how many away games we sneak by the odd goal if we cant do it at home our crowds will get less and less.........ive been around the football world long enough to see that uwe is not the answer for us....we just can afford to be his so called learning step into english league football...........sorry but thats the truth and it no matter how much id like him to succeed its plainly obvious that hes out of his depth......and thats the blatant truth

I think they're letting him down horribly

Yes we were poor today, but anyone with any common sense can see we are on the right track. I know people want us to piss the league, win all the cups blah blah blah. But that isn't going to happen and certainly not overnight, have patience and we will get there. We are a better team than last year but still missing a couple of pieces of the puzzle.
Show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser.
