If someone has been banned surely that is a matter betweeen that person and those in charge.

Explains why its has been so dead on here this past week. Bring them back, the posters make the website. Rules are rules but without them this place gets boring very quickly.

So if there weren't any rules, would the GPG be a better place? Or would it just turn shit like it did with all the negative crap that was posted on here a little while ago? AFAIK only a few are 'banned' at present, I don't believe ISB or NB are, they're just p'eed off!
Maybe the time is ready for new posters to make their mark.

Maybe we should be told why someone is banned. I've just read the rules and they do seem to be open to a wide range of interpretation by the powers that be, particularly number 5 (personal abuse).
ROB for example, may have talked a huge amount of rubbish and disagreed with just about everything the club does / doesn't do but any personal abuse seemed to be aimed at him rather than come from him and he seemed to be unceremoniously dumped due to being a nuisance to a particular group of people. If this is reason for being banned then maybe there should be another rule in the code of conduct because as it stands, it's not entirely clear what the rules actually are.
I predicted when I saw the 'sick of the negativity' thread that there would be a cull of the more critical voices on the GPG. How great we now have a happy place where fewer people than ever are around to question anything. Now what did I do with my white wig and membership of the BFC Communist Party for Socialised Football?Northampton Bee, Davee and ISB also banned.

I didnt read his ramblings so not sure why he would have been banned.
The code of conduct does not mention Nathan Abbey
It could have a section about who is banned and why, to ensure we are all clear and (heaven forbid) we donlt start spreading false rumours.....

nothing wrong with constructive critiscism, but spamming threads over and over with an argument that was comprehensively proved to be wrong/flawed serves no purpose other then annoying readers, imo. (in the case of ROB at least)
