Eintracht Frankfurt (H) Sat 15 Aug @ 3pm

I'm looking to take my six year old girl to her first Brentford game, and considering we're not members, it's probably going to have to be the pre season game.

Does anybody know when tickets for this game will be released or which stand is best suited for the little ones?

Thanks in advance.

The official family section is in N127. Right next to the West Stand which usually has the best atmosphere.

Ticket details are supposed to be announced this week sometime.

Why don't you become members?

Surely you're not just interested in pre-season games against teams from financial centres in Europe?

Quite simply for the fact that I no longer live in the area and weekends are often quite busy for me, so I'm really not sure how much use I'd get out of membership.

Following consultation with fans, we are trialling a dedicated singing section in the West Stand for this match. The aim is to bring together supporters who enjoy lifting the atmosphere to help the team.

Tickets for the singing section are available to all fans. As a special offer for the trial, fans aged 18-24 (Young Persons price class) can purchase tickets in this area for £1.

Supporters who want to be part of a group that takes responsibility for singing throughout the match are encouraged to join. We will review the popularity and success of the trial after the match and assess the potential implementation of a singing section for competitive fixtures.

Not sure how that'll work in practice regarding STs. Plus the whole west stand is meant to be the singing stand.

I’m not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere. If so, please forgive as I have obviously missed something or if there is anything about this somewhere else on the GPG.

“Prices listed are inclusive of a 1% transaction fee applied to all online and in-person ticket sales. Fees are applied to the total at checkout.”

Are tickets purchased by phone not subject to the 1% transaction fee? This sounds like a stealth tax for the buyer, as well as a bit of a faff for the ticket office employees and will certainly result in some pretty strange ticket prices, including £1.01 for some Eintracht Frankfurt YP tickets!

Does with mean that adult tickets for away games, which are supposed to cost no more than £30, will now cost an extra 30p?

I realise that 1% is not a huge sum of money, but is this further chipping at the supporter, even after ticket prices have been set? Equally, the club are not going to bank huge sums even over a season. Is it part of a BFC or a Ticketmaster strategy? Were our supporter groups involved in the discussions which led to this?

Ultimately, is it worth it? It feels a bit like airport drop off fees - are we testing the water with a 1% fee, and in future the percentage will increase?

Lots of questions I know, but, as always, I bow to those with far greater knowledge of these matters than me.
Discussions on the 1% fee in this thread please.

Often we are interested in a player from one of our pre season teams. E.F. may have a striker we could nab.

Before I suggest it to a mate....
Can I just double-check that "general sale" means to anyone at all? They don't need to be a member or need points etc etc?

So, if I buy my seat, I can then suggest the mate tries to find a seat in the same stand, come 10th July?

Yes and yes.

But it won't sell out, so unless you are particularly wedded to your seat you can just wait.

Cheers 🍻
I do like my seat 🤣
Reckon there's a high chance some of those around me won't take up theirs though so gonna risk doing it this way I think!

And for those of you who are PSH, your complimentary ticket is available to "purchase" via your ticket account. :)

Ten pounds and having to sit through it but 20 TAPs - decisions decisions

65 quid for the Legends for a pre-season friendly seems optimistic - who are they hoping to attract for that??

Megaphone and elevated platform?

the tickets on offer seem to be £10 for standard or £25 for the dugout. From what I can see, the dugout is a bar, is access to that the only difference or are they better seats.
Anyway, it seems I've been gifted membership for my 40th, so I'll no doubt be going to a few more games this season.

They are padded seats and nearer halfway.

Seems a bit steep. The Wolfsburg friendly two years ago was £35.00 in the Legends. Even FA Cup third round has been £45

Have a look at the seat map. The Dugout is S104/S105 - You have some of the best non-premium seats in the stadium directly behind the dugouts so you sit a few rows behind some of the players. But it
Concessions are not generous for the dugout though so might be an expensive trip for you and a six year old - £25+£20 instead of £10+£1

Pleased to hear you've got a membership, welcome aboard. You will probably need to wait for general sale on 10th July if your daughter doesn't have a membership too.
Get her set up with a BFC account Setting Up Your Bees Account
and add her to your friends and family group and then you'll both earn 20 TAPs towards future matches you want to attend.

Are they giving the Germans the whole of the East Stand?
I don't know. If they are what does that mean for East stand season ticket holders?
It would make sense to reserve them a big area and then it can be released to whichever team needs it.

I can’t see they’ll bring that many given they’re often over here for European games.

Unlike someone like Hansa Rostock who’ve sold around 4k for Watford away which I’m reliably informed has Hello Ken not too happy.

Oh dear. All Herts police leave cancelled.

Have we all still missed the point here that some of our seats in the West Stand might be turfed out on a permanent basis. What's the @BIAS response to this? Or is it another nodding dog yes, sir - three bags full, sir?

She's aso got a membership. I've assigned her to the family and friends group but I've not been rewarded with any TAPS.

I was going to ask, if she didn't want to go one day, (very likely, by the way), is their any way I could bring a friend who's not a member?

I’m taking my four year old for his first game. Can’t wait for him to get his chops on a lukewarm flat pint.

Eintracht Frankfurt (H) Sat 15 Aug @ 3pm

My 24 year old Son is bringing four of his mates along, their tickets were £1.01 each in the West Stand singing section, block 233.

That extra 5p in transaction fees will go so so far to keeping the club out of administration in the near future. Amazing to see.

On holiday for a couple of weeks and booked tickets for this match ages ago. I assume that they are not available to add to the wallet yet? can't be sure if I have missed an email and can't see anything through the ticketing app?
