Obviously Quansah,. red card was given by VAR in slow motion.

Incredible. Up there with Swansea Playoff Final, Beating Preston 1-0 at GP. Reminds me of the Bournemouth Playoff semi final win in terms of grit and determination.

Quite incredible result - to go to Fortress Azteca and play with 10 men for 40 minutes (including injury time) and win is probably the best England result I've seen under the circumstances.

Norway will be tough as we'll have to be better defensively than we have been but I actually think tonight was a harder game.

Now to try and probably fail to get some sleep...

TBH I’m disappointed someone hasn’t listed a load of Mexican celebs followed by telling them they’ve taken one hell of a beating.

Could we ever be better defensively than we were tonight? If we are that good next week we won’t concede another goal

We were heroic for 40 minutes but let's not kid ourselves, we conceded 2 and were all over the place at the end of the 1st half so there is big room for improvement still.

Given the precedent set by FIFA re Balogun red there is absolutely no reason why Quansah shouldn’t receive the same treatment. I highly doubt that he will and if he doesn’t it will prove how truly corrupt the governing body really is.

No he didn’t, they were leaving for the water break and the cheating Mexican walked past him and elbowed him in the ribs, it was a complete reflex action of jumping and lifting his right arm up. No contact, ther bloke went down.

All South American football players are ****s and their refs are so used to it they just go along with it.

You and I may be in a minority of two, but I'm beginning to think that perhaps this Tuchel character knows a bit about the game.

Yep we had no choice but to revert to a back 5 when we were playing with 10 men at altitude - players ran themselves into the ground

Feel gutted for Quansah.

In 99 ways out of 100, it was a perfect albeit full-blooded tackle, so well-timed and gets there first.

Just that 1% too high and his leg rides the top of the ball on the follow-through which causes the dangerous contact and makes it serious foul play.
