Agreed. I thought the ref was poor (aside from the big decisions which he got right) but I didn’t think Sunderland’s antics were any worse than others I’ve seen - including us at times. Bit of an over reaction on here.

I’m probably wrong, but I thought an offside had been called. That’s purely based on the linesman’s positioning as he looked liked he was instructing where it should be taken.

Sunderland the best side we’ve played so far this season, and I’d have taken a draw after that first half. Def was a penalty, and ref was a bit crap but he’s not the reason we didn’t win. Unbeatable and 5 points in the bag. Good start.
