I do wonder about transfer add on’s / sell on cause

Was there a base transfer fee?

Does anyone know if we have a buy back clause?

Done amazing at Millwall.

There would have been a base fee. The exeter fan on p1 had heard £1.5m. Unlikely to be much more than than given their transfer record wasn't much more.

I have no idea whether we'd have looked for a buyback clause, I suspect a generous sell on percentage would have been our priority.

Never say never. We need at least 4 central defenders in the squad and they’ll all get game time. He has the versatility to play full back in case of the unlikely event we ever need a makeshift replacement there (surely unlikely ) and he is known (and I believe) liked by the hierarchy

I imagine any consideration towards bringing him back went when we agreed a deal for Schuster. Can’t see us signing another unless someone other than Pinnock leaves in that department, and even then I imagine it would be a left footed centre back we’d go for.

It wasn't a tackle, Gelhardt deliberately stepped on his foot, and Gelhardt didn't even get a yellow card. Millwall had no substitutions left, so they played the last few minutes with ten men.

More likely he goes somewhere else for PL football, and we get a nice sell-on percentage.

The ankle injury at the end of the play off game put off suitors over the summer as it needed surgery and the poor lad did the other ankle in his first game back pre season and had surgery again yesterday. Cant see him playing till late Autumn/December.
