He needs to be a bit more circumspect! Reminds me of when I worked for a major comms company. Used to travel into London with a colleague, who in a very loud voice, would talk about highly confidential HR issues. No amount of "sushing" on my part made the slightest difference. That is exactly who it is.
Given his track record I imagine anything he is saying is bullish*t and said for attention. He needs to be a bit more circumspect! Reminds me of when I worked for a major comms company. Always talked in hushed tones on public transport ever since.
His consortium has horses running at York todayThat is exactly who it is.
I remember sitting opposite some work colleagues bitching about other work colleagues openly on a train blissfully unaware that this recent joiner was sitting opposite them. I took great pleasure in asking them what roles they were doing on my project as we pulled into St Pancras. He needs to be a bit more circumspect! As always he could be talking absolute bullshitDon't know where to post this, but a friend is on a train heading North and overhead a suited gentleman talking about discussions with a Brentford director, a player who is on the move and contract end dates.

He was at the Arsenal game last night.
Obviously conjecture etc, Matti or Kevin?
Mods, please delete if you feel inappropriate
Dunno, sounds to me like he's having to tighten the purse strings. No more going large on his Big Mac meals...He would probably vomit if forced to travel on a train.

Up there with Wayne Turner debut, hopefully following games are a little better thoughWhat Keith said on that NBC signing is spot on with how thought we did our business. Identify players that could be good for us but the 2nd part..meet the person (key word). Do they fit in with the club, is the club the right one for us.
Sangare looks like a prime example of that philosophy. I can't think of a better debut. Often it's I like the look of him or he will come good. He looked the part, so much to like
So what do we need. KLP performance.. I think we look good enough at full back now.. I wouldn't be surprised if we went for another wide attacker but I think that's us done
Not sure if allowed to post as thread was closed but stories say back in for diouf

Yes I wasn’t sure but did seem a half decent source.Yeah saw that and was too scared to post it![]()
He is most certainly not a half decent source. Gets the odd B team loan to the EFL right but anything incomings wise he’s useless.Yes I wasn’t sure but did seem a half decent source.
But prepared to be shouted down![]()
Ok thanks for letting me noHe is most certainly not a half decent source. Gets the odd B team loan to the EFL right but anything incomings wise he’s useless.
Ok thanks saw he had over 170k followers including david ornstein and the gpg. It's been shut because it's been confirmed by a most impeccable source that we are not interested and Pete "I coulda been a contender" O'Rourke isn't going to change that.
I was thinking this earlier, what a great season to go spend on a top wide player…..then thought about all the players not in the squad.I would really like to have another wide forward but it would be crazy with Carvalho, Milambo, Nunes & JDS still to come in to the squad
If the fans can stay with this team when times get tougher, we can avoid any serious injury concerns something very special could be in the office![]()
I can be objective, not quite sure what that’s about…Sounds like a poundshop Frank Onyeka though.. You'd spend your time on the GPG either advocating for him to start or defending his average at best performances. I hope the club save you the time and heartache. I suspect they will.
He seems to get a few northern EFL clubs correct but London doesn’t seem to be in his geography. He is most certainly not a half decent source. Gets the odd B team loan to the EFL right but anything incomings wise he’s useless.
Three of the four you mention are midfielders not wide forwards. It's clear KLP is now staying at LB so in my opinion we need another wide forward as we only have three available this season unless you count Nunes. He doesn't seem close to being a starter so may well be loaned again.I would really like to have another wide forward but it would be crazy with Carvalho, Milambo, Nunes & JDS still to come in to the squad

Forgetting Nunes, Carvalho has been used as wide attacker and as a 9a, playing off a central striker, although we’ve seen so little of him it’s difficult to know what role the Club is focusing his coaching on. Dasilva has been a wide attacker and a deeper midfielder on the right so, again, we’ve seen so little of him in the last few years but the coaches will have a clear view as to his role. Milambo’s playing style was a midfield ball-carrier, able to to dribble forward but, yet again, we’ve seen almost nothing of him it’s difficult to know what role the Club is coaching him for but I’d guess it’s still as a more central midfielder. Whatever, I’m sure our coaches have clear views as to the best position they will be used in but we’ve not kept them on without a clear pathway.Three of the four you mention are midfielders not wide forwards. Why do we need him? We're not really sure how, Carvalho, Milambo and Josh are going to fit in, this adds to that problem.Ok. I got shut down on a cheeky offer for Mainoo. What about Harvey Elliot - looks like he’s on his way out of Liverpool. Age 23. One for our long term future. Or does the same apply - only going to a bigger club / wages too high etc?
Can Diof play centre back?Wonder if a experienced centre back available might sign if Sepps injury is too bad.
Not sure but weren't we linked with Tuanzbe? Can Diof play centre back?![]()
I actually don't hate that, only 25, can cover RB in a pinch, plays with Collins and Kelleher in the ROI team. Suppose it depends how close Schuster, Ji-Soo and Fredrick are. What about O’Brien from Everton? Looks like he’s had a fall out with Moyes and been transfer listed. May be one of those opportunities? Weren't we linked before?
I thought he was doing ok there, having finally got a place in the team. (Didn’t he score against us, last season?). Anyway, there’s not normally any return from a fallout with Moyes, so probably best to move on. Doubt it would be to us though. KA, NC and SVdB are about the same age, and we should give the young’uns a go at some point. What about O’Brien from Everton? Looks like he’s had a fall out with Moyes and been transfer listed. He scored the equaliser the season before last.A good shout.
He did score against us last season.
Possibly knows CK & NC (and possibly KA and DD from his time with the Ireland national side at younger levels).
With this window ticking down into its last week, let's see if there are any more 'ins'.
