Assume it is very likely that the Liverpool home game on Saturday 17th October will get moved from the 3pm kick-off currently scheduled? (I know we won't know for sure unt late August - just trying to suss out if more likely or not?)

There's no additional reason why it would move. So it simply depends on whether it gets picked for TV.

Just going by previous ‘form’ I’d say it’s ‘likely’ to be moved from 3pm Saturday @jimmybrad
Since we’ve come up only one of our 10 fixtures v Liverpool has been at 3pm on a Saturday.
That 2-nil loss at home in February 2024.

Because of the new International break there are Champions League Matches before and after this fixture
October 13/14, 2nd match Champions League league stage
October 20/21, 3rd match Champions League league stage
So the confirmed date will only be finalised when the Champions League Fixtures are released AND Sky make their picks for October
So that will not be Until the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend
During the week before, Sky may well say Brentford v Liverpool has moved to ### date but will move to ### time if Liverpool play in the CL on Tuesday 20th

Indeed. They were unlikely to move our games against Villa or Liverpool because they usually keep teams with an upcoming CL fixture on the Saturday (or Friday).
They've made us the main 2pm selection knowing they can show Palace v Newcastle and Man U v Bournemouth as bonus picks. The smaller club in each fixture is helpfully playing in Europe on the Thursday before... Helpfully for Sky anyway.
Liverpool v Brighton will be on the list too that day if Brighton win their Conference League play off.

Yes you'd have thought they would say "could be moved if Brighton win at North Pole (A) this week and next week"
There was a risk of TNT picking it but they are filling their boots with Villa v Man City which is hopefully the "not living up to the heights of recent seasons" derby.

I don't think so.
Liverpool will play in the CL on the Tuesday/Wednesday before and the Tuesday/Wednesday after... No impact on a 3pm Saturday kick off.

Oxford United can confirm that our League One home fixture against Reading has been rescheduled.
The fixture, originally scheduled to take place on Saturday 29 August, will now be played on Tuesday 8 September with a 7:45pm kick-off.
Should either Oxford United or Reading progress to Round Three of the Carabao Cup, the League fixture will instead be played on Tuesday 15 September.

Oxford could not have been certain about that statement in bold when writing that though.... because Reading (or Oxford) could have been drawn against a CL team and forced to play in the cup in w/c 15th September.
It's interesting there was already that permutation set out though and I suppose suggests what is likely to happen.
