At this stage of the season we want plenty of draws. So every game a 0-0 please.

Everytime I hear Cherki mentioned I want to them say it in a scouse accent. Just seems to fit 👍😂
Isn’t Cherki another one that they’re selling?

Not going well for CP today. Ordonez from Club Brugge has ‘failed’ his medical. The CBs metatarsal injury is worse than they believed. Not long left to make the decision…

Palace have been trounced at Selhurst. I know it’s Man City but still….

Glasner with an interesting positional tweak. James McAtee always considered an attacking midfielder or winger is being played as one of the two deep lying midfielders in the their 4 man box midfield.

The Scallies won’t be happy. I can feel another dash to the transfer supermarket coming 🛒

Feel for Liverpool here..
Didn't get to see the throw again as initially thought back foot was up on release..

But the game would have been slowed/stopped for Liverpool subs but because of the need to use the boards and the 4th official not able to operate them, they've not been able to.

The amount of foul throws missed at this level is amazing.

You have to say that Forest deserve to be in front.

Not sure it was a pen and the 4th official couldn't operate the boards to get the subs on, maybe a foul throw too. I'd be abit pissed if I was a Liverpool fan

"Delap creates a goal opportunity directly from a throw-in"... somehow that sounds familiar.

Also, how often are we told that you're not getting '2 bites' of shooting?

There have been hundreds upon hundreds of incidents where a player has had a shot off target and then brought down and no foul/penalty given just because they missed.
That is effectively rewarding what was actually a bad shot at first.

There have been other incidents in this game where 'fouls' have happened where the ball has gone and he has completely ignored it.

Iraola style of high energy football at Muff attracted Liverpool to secure his services as head coach. However just don't see it in this Liverpool side. Wrong players for his style or are they not buying into it?

Wrong players.

At Bournemouth, like at us, the players are picked up because they're seen more as potential and willing to learn.
Players at Liverpool, City etc run things instead and feel they're at the top and "know what they're doing".

He'll probably find it as tough as Thomas did at Spurs.

They demand success, or close to, instantly. Both that is.

Slot didn't last. He won with what was very likely still a Klopp team. But then he was dealt with the Jota loss and all the mourning that came with that.
Frank had to try steady an already sinking ship. Didn't get the same type of financial back they have seen this Summer. The players they had last season does not play the way Brentford did/do. Some were there just to collect wages and could not be bothered.
Even at United, they're never given a chance really.

As much as I dislike Arteta, and Arsenal (fans), despite his "shortcomings", they stuck with when it was more simpler to sack and push again. They stuck and he built. They won the league (even if it was boring football).
Shows what continuity brings.
