Chertsey 1 yate 1….501…20 aways, no chaps….30/40 home ones imcluding well known 🐝s
Chertsey top but should have been 2 clear…played v 10 men for last 20 mins but fair play to yate for defending to the death !💪😉

We look good but didn’t finish em off….a great start to the season but need to be more clinical in the 6 yard box 🫣

Non Brentford FC football matches attended 2026/27

I missed a eeport on Broadbridge Heath 0 AFC Greenwich Borough 1 in the FA Cup the previous week so better do.
Last night 18/08/26
Isthmian South East.
Broadbridge Heath (2) 2 South Park (0)2
£7 seniors
£2 programme.
Inchs Cider and Heineken £12.45.
Chap count ?
Me for one,my mate from Southwater and the #1 chap on the planet who i could have spoken too all night about Brentford,West Ham and football but we kept it for 2.5 hours instead.
I got told some funny stories regarding trips to away games in the 60s and 70s and how it was beyond the Wild West in some places.
And here we are still, but just getting older and sadly in Bills case a bit frailer.
"Getting olds a bastard" he said.

The game of 2 halves .
BBH dominated the first and Sparks the 2nd.
A draw was a fair result in the end and both teams could have won it later on.
There is not a lot between the two teams and i feel mid table would be a good season for both.
It got a bit feisty towards the end,but the Ref was sensible in issuing warnings rather than being overtly excited about Christmas and distributing cards out to everyone which players acknowledged.
BBH are out of the FA Cup and The Trophy (losing to South Park 2-1 on saturday who have Bognor Regis away on Saturday week),but have the Velocity cup and Sussex Senior Cup to look forward too in the coming months.
Lets see how the season progresses and it is good to be back.

Danny Bracken is approaching 1,000 games a keeper in non league football btw.
That is some achievment.

Weds 19 August

Combined Counties League Division One
Wibbandune Sports Ground SW20

Colliers Wood United (3) 6 Molesey (0) 0

Attendance : 79

Admission : £8

Programme (excellent value) : £2

Beer (bottle of Pride) : £4.50

Food (cheese roll) : £2.50

Chaps : 1

A very enjoyable evening by the side of the A3, the Wood battered a self-destructing Molesey team whose keeper kept the score down to single figures. Moles had 2 players and their manager sent off.

But highlight of the evening was meeting and having a decent chat with @SpiderBee ! So impressed at the effort you put in to produce the programme … but you really should come to the Gtech just once!

Honestly, the pleasure was all mine @westendbee . I have been watching this level of football (and similar) for so long now, my heart is here and whilst I am a huge advocate of the Bees, especially living where I do cos it annoys the arse out of the local Palarse and (lost) Arse fans, it is most unlikely I will ever see a Bees game again (unless The Wood can wangle a PSF at our humble home).

If any other Bees fans would like to pop along you will be most welcome. 5 of us there tonight btw!

To avoid any confusion this is Enfield, as opposed to Enfield Town.

How could any report have added to this? Great insights such as: ‘very hard pitch’

Broadbridge Heath 0 Greenwich Borough 1
FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round
8 August 2026
I reckon the attendance was about 135
Entrance £11
Programme £2

Pretty hot, very hard pitch
Very tight game. I reckon the away side just edged it and as the away side they would probably say they deserved the win.
The GB officials and supporters love having ‘a go’ at the officials

2 days ago….chertsey 3 v abbey rangers 0 in the 1st rd surrey senior cup…an astonishing crowd of 567 😱🥳 about 50 aways and a few local Chertsey/addlestone chaps but totally outnumbered by 50plus Cherts chaps imcluding a few 🐝….the club only expected 200ish but it’s a very local derby even if they’re well below us in league and terrace standings 😉💪

Next up Frome home in the league sat and a visit by the cider bees from there…and Cornwall 👀🙌🏼🥳 who can beat Chertsey this season ? Not many by the looks of it ….Brentford and Chertsey are aligned in glory this season…nailed on 💪😱

Southern Premier League South
August 22nd
Gloucester 1-0 Hanwell
Att: 869
£13 to get in
£6ish for a Hawkstone
Didn't eat
Very few chaps, Hanwell had about 8 fans total

One of the worst first halfs I've ever seen, absolutely nothing happened and I'm struggling to remember a shot let alone any keeper having to do anything

Gloucester improved 2nd half and got the goal (was an OG)

Deserved the win, should have been at least 2

Finally got the first win, league looks wide open and Gloucester are definitely not as good as pre-season led us to believe

York City 2 Exeter City 1
League Two
Saturday 29 August 2026
Attendance: 7,978 (671 away)
Entrance £24
Programme £3.50
Did not get any refreshments but I saw pies were about £5.50

Most shocking element - seven urinal spaces in the away end. There were a number of middle
aged men who, I would hazard, had drunk quite a few beers who looked quite concerned at half time.

York deserved to win. Their 7, Joe Grey, was the best player. Exeter look like they’ll
struggle to stay up. They’ve got to hope two other teams are weaker.

The ground is a unique one - more cramped than Brentford. Extremely ‘functional’. Quite unattractive, but watching a game there is better than some. Wedged in between a swimming pool, cinema, restaurants and I mean wedged.

Efficent bus shuttle to the ground

Back up to 91/92

I was also there. I agree quite a one sided game and there were a couple of "typical Brentford" moments I thought of from the distant past - not scoring the second goal to pot the game to bed when you've had a hatful of chances. And then once 2-0 up, conceding a goal out of nothing to jangle the nerves for a few minutes.

We got there 15 mins late due to slightly wandering and delayed buses and enjoying the lunchtime beer for just a bit too long. Missed the opening goal, dad could not get a programme.

I am back to 92/92

Inter Milan vs Monza. Serie A.
Date. Saturday 22nd August
Venue : San Siro
Final score 4-1 to Inter.
Attendance : 75013
Ticket cost 55 Euros
Did not purchase food or programme
Drinks 4.50 Euro for a Cola

My first visit to the iconic San Siro. It has an amazing aura and when I arrived at my seat i must have spent 15 mins just looking around. The truth is its a very dated stadiums seats look about 40 years old, restricted view row 1 and took about 25 mins to actually get to our seats as we were high up. Just one refreshment kiosk serving our section so even at 72 mins took 15 mins to get a cola. An amazing atmosphere though much better than anything you get in England and great goals to boot. It was 1-1 at half time but Inter were dominant 2nd half. Very strict security three layers of checks and id needed (we took passports).

We're looking to go in April. How easy was it to get tickets? Been once but was the stadium tour and yes it does look dated but one of the most iconic stadiums and must go to a game before it gets taken down

Good effort
I just need to do Rochdale (which I will in the not too distant future)

It wasnt hard. Be aware when general public release happens we purchased via the official Inter website. And take your id with you when you go.

Chertsey 1 Frome 2….was like the Rollerball film of 1975😱👊🏼 10 yellows and 2 reds but could have been double that 😱🫣 the return game could be interesting 👀😳
496 there…30 Frome, 8 chaps….around 40/50 kt16 ones💪

In between the serious fouling and constant niggling there was a decent game to be fair…both teams will be up there all season 😉
next Hanworth Villa away on Monday afternoon and a chance to say hello to DW 👍🐝 we need 3 points to get back on course 🙏
