A full team of ex-Bees

I was thinking yesterday about how many ex-Bees there seem to be who are currently contracted to other PL clubs and I wondered whether there are enough to make up a whole team. And the answer is yes, just about, although four players are normally centre halves, so one of them would need to play right (wing) back. The team would look like this:

GK: Raya
LB: Bidwell
CH: Pinnock
CH: Tarkowski
CH: Egan
RB: Konsa
MF: Onyeka
MF: Norgaard
MF: Henderson
ST: Wissa (sorry, couldn't really leave him out, sadly!!)
ST: Mbeumo

There would even be room for Bentley as a sub keeper.

I wonder how well they'd do. If I've forgotten anyone, I'm sure that you'll let me know!

I can’t think of any more. A technicality, but has Henderson played yet in the PL for Chelski? Similarly, the GPG collective decided Bidwell won’t play PL for Coventry as he’s not included in the squad.

That's why I said that they're "contracted to" other PL clubs.

Thanks for those. I knew that I'd miss some. Mitchell never played for our first team, so I didn't include him. As for Akpom, I wasn't really thinking of loan players, but I guess he can be included.

So we now have 3 sub goalies and a sub striker!

Shame you can't include the Saudi players (or can you?)...

Bypass the midfield, and have a front line of Mbeumo, Wissa, Toney and Watkins...

I thought about including ex-Bees playing in Saudi, but do you then include those plying their trade in other top leagues abroad too? So I thought that I'd keep it fairly simple and just limit it to the PL.

If we excluded those who wouldn't pass the 'no dickheads' test we could muster up a decent 7 a side team.

I'm currently putting this to the test in Fantasy Premier League, albeit with 3 current Bees permitted.

Objective is to beat the average score, as unfortunately winning the whole thing is beyond this group

Here's another challenge I'm sure someone would love to explore: can we make up a team of ex-Bees plying their trade in League 2?
